Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Falls Under Rs 1,00,000, Making the S26 Ultra Gap Harder to Ignore

A sharp price cut has made the Galaxy S25 Ultra look far more compelling than it did at launch. On Amazon India, the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage version has dropped below Rs 1,00,000, creating a much wider gap against the newly launched Galaxy S26 Ultra.

That comparison matters because the latest Ultra model is listed at Rs 1,30,999 for the same 12 GB + 256 GB configuration. With the S25 Ultra now available at a much lower price, the difference comes to at least Rs 36,000, which is enough to change how buyers may view Samsung’s older flagship.

A discount that changes the equation

Amazon is currently showing the Galaxy S25 Ultra 12 GB + 256 GB at Rs 99,999, down from the regular Rs 1,18,999. The selling price can fall further through a combination of a Rs 2,000 coupon and a Rs 3,000 bank discount.

That takes the effective price to Rs 94,999 before any additional cashback is counted. For a premium Ultra-series phone, that puts the device into a range that is not often seen for this class of flagship.

There is also extra value for some shoppers through Amazon’s cashback offers. Prime members using the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card can receive 5% cashback, while non-Prime users are eligible for 3%.

With those benefits included, the effective price can go down to around Rs 90,250 for Prime users with the Amazon Pay card. For non-Prime shoppers, the final cost is said to fall to about Rs 92,180.

Why the timing stands out

The discount arrives soon after Samsung introduced the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which makes the price move look more like a stock-clearing push for the previous model. That timing is important because it turns the S25 Ultra from a straightforward premium purchase into a more practical alternative.

The price difference is especially noticeable at a time when flagship pricing can easily become the main barrier for buyers. When the gap reaches tens of thousands of rupees, the older model starts to look like the more rational choice for many users.

What the Galaxy S25 Ultra still offers

Even with the newer model on the market, the Galaxy S25 Ultra still carries a very premium hardware package. It uses a titanium design and runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

Its camera setup remains one of the strongest points. The phone includes a 200 MP main camera, a 10 MP 3x telephoto lens, a 50 MP 5x periscope lens, and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera.

That configuration keeps the device relevant for buyers who want a versatile camera system in a flagship phone. The handset is also described as still receiving nearly all Galaxy AI features.

More savings are possible through exchange offers

The promotional price can be pushed lower if a trade-in is part of the purchase. Amazon is showing exchange value of up to Rs 18,000 for the Galaxy S23 in one example.

The iPhone exchange value is said to be better in some cases, although the final amount depends on the device model, physical condition, and the assessment at checkout. That means the actual benefit will vary from buyer to buyer.

How the market compares elsewhere

Outside the Amazon Summer Sale, the Galaxy S25 Ultra remains more expensive on several other channels. Samsung Official Store, Vijay Sales, Croma, and Reliance Digital are all listing it at Rs 1,29,999.

Amazon itself had earlier shown the phone at Rs 1,29,999 with an out-of-stock status, and later offered it at Rs 1,18,999 through an HDFC Bank card promotion. Flipkart, meanwhile, has been seen listing the phone at Rs 96,898, with the price able to drop to Rs 92,898 with select card cashback.

That spread shows how active pricing competition for the Galaxy S25 Ultra has become. Even so, Amazon’s current offer stands out because it brings the base price under Rs 1,00,000 before cashback and exchange benefits are added.

Potential buyers still need to check the coupon terms, bank offers, and stock status before placing an order. Retail prices and specifications shown on shopping pages can change, so a final check remains important before purchase.
