For buyers who want a tablet that behaves less like a casual entertainment device and more like a productivity machine, iQOO Pad 5e pushes that idea hard. It pairs a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 with a large 12.1-inch display, a 10,000 mAh battery, and work tools that are meant to feel closer to a PC than to a typical Android tablet.
That combination places it in an aggressive position for the midrange segment. iQOO appears to be targeting users who want strong gaming performance, smooth visuals, and serious multitasking in one device without stepping into a higher price bracket.
Performance that goes beyond the usual midrange setup
The biggest headline on iQOO Pad 5e is its Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. That processor usually appears in more expensive devices, and here it is paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
On paper, that hardware mix is built for demanding use and heavy multitasking. iQOO also claims gaming results that place the tablet well above many peers in its class.
Genshin Impact is said to run at an average above 50 FPS on high graphics settings. PUBG Mobile supports Extreme Plus up to 90 FPS, while Mobile Legends is described as smooth at max settings or Super 90 FPS.
A large screen built for smoother motion
The display is another major selling point. iQOO Pad 5e uses a 12.1-inch panel with 2.8K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
That high refresh rate should make scrolling and transitions look noticeably smoother than on many tablets limited to 90Hz or 120Hz. The screen also reaches 900 nits of brightness and supports HDR10.
Audio support is not treated as an afterthought either. The tablet includes four speakers with Super Audio 6.0.
Big battery, thin body
Despite the large screen, the tablet does not look oversized. Its body measures 6.62 mm thick and weighs 584 grams.
The green color variant adds a more distinctive look, giving the device a fresher and more premium impression. That design choice helps it stand out in a market where many tablets tend to play it safe.
Battery life is another area where iQOO is clearly aiming high. The tablet carries a 10,000 mAh battery and supports 44W Flash Charge.
iQOO also says heavy gaming for one hour only drains around 9-15% of the battery. That makes the device look better suited for long sessions of gaming and media consumption.
Work features that aim for a PC-like feel
The software side is centered on OriginOS 5 HD based on Android 15. Instead of focusing only on entertainment, iQOO adds features that are meant to improve productivity.
One of the most notable is WPS Office PC Level, which offers a document interface and functions that resemble a desktop version. The tablet also supports Split Screen and Floating Windows, giving users more flexibility when handling multiple tasks.
The front camera is placed on the long edge in landscape orientation. That position makes online meetings and video calls feel more natural because the user’s eye line aligns better with the screen layout.
Pricing puts pressure on the market
In China, iQOO Pad 5e starts at around Rp 4.9 million for the 8/128GB variant. At that level, the tablet enters a very competitive zone while still carrying specifications that usually belong to more expensive models.
For now, only the China version is available, but an official launch in Indonesia is eagerly awaited. If it reaches the local market, iQOO Pad 5e could become a serious rival for Xiaomi Pad and Poco Pad lines.
