Tecno’s latest push in May 2026 is built around a simple but aggressive idea: bring features that usually sit higher up the market into affordable phones. The brand is leaning on two attention-grabbing elements in particular, a massive 8,000 mAh battery and curved displays, to make its new lineup stand out in the midrange and entry-level space.
That strategy gives the range a premium feel from the start. Gaming users, content creators, and everyday buyers are being offered fast screens, large batteries, and several features that are not commonly associated with lower price segments.
The strongest performance push comes from Pova 7 Ultra
At the top of Tecno’s current lineup sits the Pova 7 Ultra. It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset and pairs it with a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2,000 nits of brightness.
The phone is also built for long sessions, with a 7,000 mAh battery and 90W fast charging. On the camera side, it carries a 50MP Sony main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide camera.
Big batteries remain the main selling point
The most eye-catching model is the Tecno Pova Curve 2, which brings an 8,000 mAh battery. Tecno matches that capacity with a Curve AMOLED 144Hz display, so the phone still keeps a refined look instead of appearing bulky or plain.
It runs on the Dimensity 715G and includes bypass charging. That addition is aimed at users who want to play games while charging without making the device heat up too quickly.
Pova 7 series spreads across 4G and 5G variants
Tecno also extends the Pova name through the Pova 7 Series, which arrives in both 4G and 5G versions. The 4G model stands out with a 108MP camera, while the 5G variant uses the Dimensity 7300 and a battery rated up to 7,000 mAh.
For buyers who want a more powerful option in the same family, the Pova 7 Ultra sits above both of them. That gives the lineup a clear ladder from mainstream use to heavier performance needs.
Camera-focused users get a different route
Tecno is also targeting creators with the Camon 50 Pro 5G. This model includes a 50MP telephoto camera and a 50MP selfie camera, along with a 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display and the Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset.
The regular Camon 50 takes a different approach. It uses an AMOLED panel with brightness reaching 3,000 nits and carries a 6,500 mAh battery for longer daily use.
Curved screens move into cheaper territory
Curved displays are not limited to the most expensive models here. The Spark 40 Pro series brings a 3D curved display design that gives it a more premium look in a student-friendly price class.
On the Pro Plus variant, Tecno even adds 30W wireless charging. The series is powered by the Helio G Series Ultimate chipset, which is intended to keep performance stable and cool.
More options for daily use and lighter needs
Another curved-screen option is the original Pova Curve. It uses the Dimensity 7300 and a 64MP camera, while keeping a thin and light body.
For more practical everyday use, the Spark 50 offers a 120Hz display, a 7,000 mAh battery, and the Helio G81. That combination makes it suitable for social media and light multitasking.
At the lowest end of the range, the Spark Go 3 keeps things simple with a 6.74-inch 120Hz display, a 5,000 mAh battery, and 15W charging. It is clearly aimed at basic needs, but the smooth screen still gives it an advantage in its class.
