Slim Phone, Giant 7000mAh Battery, Tecno Camon Slim Moves Closer To Launch

Tecno Camon Slim is drawing attention for a reason that is rarely seen in one midrange phone: a slim body paired with a 7,000mAh battery. The device has now appeared in multiple global certification databases, which suggests that its official launch is getting closer.

One of the strongest clues comes from the FCC and Tecno’s own Carlcare database, where the model number CN6c has surfaced. Those listings have also revealed several important details, including battery capacity, fast-charging support, and early hints about the rear design.

A large battery in a thin form factor

The FCC documents identify the Tecno Camon Slim with battery code BL-68DX. Its typical capacity is listed at 7,000mAh, while the measured capacity sits at 6,840mAh.

That is a notably large figure for a modern smartphone, especially one that carries the “Slim” name. If Tecno keeps the handset as thin as the name suggests, the Camon Slim could stand out as an unusual mix of compact styling and high battery endurance.

The same filing also points to 60W fast charging. Tecno’s adapter with model number U600TSA is mentioned in the certification, giving the phone a stronger appeal for users who want long battery life without sacrificing charging speed.

Different battery option for some markets

Not every listing points to the same battery size. A TÜV Rheinland certification shows another version of the Tecno Camon Slim with a 5,800mAh battery and a measured capacity of 5,430mAh.

That variant is reported for several markets, including parts of Europe and Saudi Arabia. This kind of regional difference is common in smartphones and usually reflects regulatory requirements, design choices, or distribution needs.

Early design hints suggest a restrained look

The FCC paperwork also offers an early look at the phone’s rear layout. It appears to use a horizontal, pill-shaped camera module with two main sensors.

That design direction feels close to the style Tecno used on the Spark Slim series. The overall impression is a handset that aims for a clean and modern look rather than a bulky camera arrangement.

The camera details themselves have not been fully revealed. Even so, the presence of two sensors suggests a focus on everyday photography and social media use, which fits the Camon line’s position in the midrange segment.

Connectivity and performance details are starting to emerge

Beyond battery and design, the FCC certification also confirms NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LTE support. There is also an indication that 5G connectivity may be included.

Earlier leaks have added more context to the hardware picture. The Tecno Camon Slim is expected to use a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB and 256GB.

The display is said to be a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel. That kind of screen usually offers stronger contrast and more vivid colors, and it is also believed to support a high refresh rate, although that has not been officially confirmed.

On the software side, the device is expected to ship with Android 16 and HiOS 16. Tecno has not announced an official price or launch schedule yet, but the repeated certification appearances indicate that the phone is moving toward release.

For now, the Tecno Camon Slim remains a device built around one unusual promise: a large 7,000mAh battery in a body that is still meant to look slim. If Tecno delivers that combination, the phone could become one of the more interesting midrange models to watch.
