MSI used COMPUTEX 2026 to push two very different products into the spotlight: a handheld built for portable gaming performance and a massive 18-inch laptop aimed at the top end of its lineup. Together, Claw 8 EX AI+ and Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic show how MSI is framing its 40th anniversary around gaming power, premium design, and a broader AI PC strategy.
The company is not treating these launches as isolated hardware updates. MSI is also widening its AI PC portfolio across gamers, creators, and everyday productivity users, turning the COMPUTEX stage into a statement about where the brand wants to compete next.
Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic
Among the new products, the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic stands out as the most elaborate showcase of MSI craftsmanship. The model draws inspiration from the Draco constellation and uses precision metal engraving together with anodized finishing to create a premium and durable feel.
This 18-inch desktop replacement sits at the top of MSI’s laptop lineup with Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU with 24GB of GDDR7 memory. MSI pairs that hardware with an 18-inch 4K 240Hz Mini LED display, a per-key mechanical RGB keyboard, an RGB haptic touchpad, and a vapor chamber cooling system.
The limited-edition package adds a collector angle to the machine. Buyers also receive a gaming mouse, a mouse pad, and a commemorative coin as part of the exclusive bundle.
Claw 8 EX AI+ and MSI’s handheld push
On the handheld side, MSI introduced the Claw 8 EX AI+ as the world’s first device to use the Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor. MSI describes the platform as Intel’s first solution optimized specifically for handheld gaming.
The device is based on Intel’s latest Xe graphics architecture and supports XeSS 3 with Multi-Frame Generation. MSI says that combination is intended to improve frame rates, smoothness, and responsiveness in games while keeping power efficiency at the center of the design.
That efficiency focus matters because MSI positions the Claw 8 EX AI+ for longer AAA gaming sessions on a portable device. The handheld also features an 8-inch 120Hz VRR display and a redesigned chassis with ergonomic grips for more comfortable extended play.
For controls, MSI uses Hall Effect triggers and joysticks, along with improved bumpers, a more responsive D-pad, and high-end linear motors for faster response and smoother haptic feedback. The software side includes Xbox Mode for quicker game launching, while the redesigned Quick Settings panel makes it easier to manage Multi-Frame Generation and in-game frame settings.
More AI PC models broaden the lineup
MSI’s COMPUTEX presentation went beyond gaming hardware. The Prestige 14 Flip AI+ Vincent van Gogh Edition joins the MSI Artisan Collection, bringing a more artistic direction to the brand’s premium notebooks.
That model takes inspiration from The Starry Night and Starry Night Over the Rhône by Vincent van Gogh. It runs on the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and is aimed at portable productivity with all-day battery life.
MSI also highlighted the newer Katana, Venture, and Crosshair 16 HX MLG Edition series to cover a wider range of use cases. The updated Katana line focuses on refreshed design and performance for mainstream gamers, while Venture uses the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and a strong cooling system for daily work, entertainment, and light creative tasks.
The Crosshair 16 HX MLG Edition takes a more distinct visual direction with a Stellar White chassis and a pearl-like finish that reveals a red sheen under changing light. The 16-inch laptop is inspired by MSI MLG, the company’s original mascot character tied to gaming culture, technology, and young creativity.
That model is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series laptop GPUs. MSI says it will first reach the China market, adding another layer to its expanding gaming lineup across different segments.
Taken together, these releases show MSI leaning hard into a strategy that mixes performance, efficiency, and premium design. COMPUTEX 2026 became the company’s platform to show that it wants a stronger position in handheld gaming and flagship laptops at the same time.
