Oppo is preparing a notable premium showcase for India, and the spotlight is firmly on its camera-first ambitions. The Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s are scheduled to launch on 21 May 2026 at 12.00 PM IST, marking the first time Oppo’s “Ultra” family will reach the market there.
The launch is already paired with pre-orders through Oppo’s Privilege Pack program. Oppo India confirmed the schedule on its official X account and website, and the company has opened bookings for both models ahead of the event.
Early pre-order perks for both models
The Privilege Pack is priced at Rs 99 for the Find X9s and Rs 129 for the Find X9 Ultra. Each pack includes a one-time coupon that can be exchanged for gifts and extra benefits.
For the Find X9 Ultra, the bundle includes a magnetic aramid fibre case, Oppo Enco Air 5 Pro TWS, an 80W SUPERVOOC USB-C charger, and an Oppo Magnetic Cooling Card. The Find X9s package includes a magnetic Quicksand Shimmer case, Oppo Enco Buds 3 Pro TWS, an 80W SUPERVOOC USB-C charger, and a Magnetic Cooling Card.
Oppo is also pushing its camera ecosystem with an official Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit for both phones. Support for the teleconverter on the Find X9s is still not confirmed, even as the accessory itself is expected to include a Hasselblad Ultra professional teleconverter, a camera grip protective case, a dedicated shoulder strap, a professional 67mm filter adapter ring, a storage bag for the teleconverter, and official certification documents.
Find X9 Ultra leads the flagship push
Among the two devices, the Find X9 Ultra is clearly positioned as the more ambitious model. Its camera setup is the main attraction, especially after Oppo used the phone for a shoot from space, which helped amplify interest in the device.
The phone pairs that camera focus with high-end hardware. It features a 6.82-inch QHD+ 2K LTPO AMOLED 12-bit display with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 6,000 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Inside, Oppo uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device also supports up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, while running ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
Battery capacity reaches 7,050mAh, with 100W wired charging through USB-C and 50W wireless charging. The phone also carries IP68 and IP69 certification, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, an infrared sensor, dual-SIM 5G, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port.
A 200 MP camera system backed by Hasselblad
Photography is where the Find X9 Ultra is expected to stand out most. Its rear system includes a 200 MP Hasselblad Sony LYT-901 main camera, a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view, a 200 MP OmniVision OV52A 3x telephoto camera, and a 50 MP Samsung JNL 10x periscope telephoto camera.
Oppo also adds digital zoom up to 120x and a 3.2 MP monochrome sensor. For selfies, the phone uses a 50 MP Samsung JN5 front camera with Hasselblad color tuning.
Find X9s takes a smaller but still premium route
The Find X9s targets users who want a more compact design without leaving the premium segment. It comes with a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
Its hardware is built around the Dimensity 9500s chipset, paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and carries a 7,025mAh battery with 80W USB-C fast charging.
The camera setup is simpler but still fully in premium territory. Oppo includes a 50 MP Hasselblad main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50 MP 3x periscope telephoto camera, while the front camera uses a 32 MP sensor.
Pricing remains unannounced, but expectations are clear
Oppo has not revealed official India pricing for either device yet. In China, the Find X9 Ultra starts at 7,499 Chinese yuan for the 12GB + 256GB version, while the Hasselblad Photography Kit is priced at 2,499 Chinese yuan.
For India, the Find X9 Ultra is expected to start around Rs 1,59,999, with the official photography kit projected at about Rs 27,999. If those figures hold, the full phone-and-kit package could approach Rs 2 lakh. The Find X9s is expected to land lower, with a starting price around Rs 79,999, aligning with the initial price point of the Oppo Find X9.
