Alain-Fabien Delon has stepped away from the legal storm surrounding his family with a quiet getaway in Normandy. A week after the Paris criminal court verdict, he traveled to Deauville with his partner Laura Bensadoun, their young daughter Romy, and their three dogs.
The family stayed at the Normandy Barrière hotel, where their weekend was marked by room-service breakfasts, long walks on the beach, and slower moments away from the glare of the feud that has followed the Delon family since Alain Delon’s death. Laura Bensadoun shared the trip on Instagram and described the stay as a welcome break for their “slightly oversized team.”
A family break far from the courtroom
The trip came shortly after Alain-Fabien Delon was convicted over the recording and disclosure of a private conversation between his sister Anouchka and their late father Alain Delon. According to www.parismatch.com, the family outing offered a pause after a highly public dispute that has involved both Alain-Fabien and his brother Anthony.
Laura Bensadoun wrote that traveling light was no longer really an option for them, before thanking the hotel for hosting the family during two nights at the iconic Normandy Barrière. The tone of her post suggested a rare moment of calm for a household under pressure.
Laura Bensadoun has remained a steady support
Laura has played a central role in supporting Alain-Fabien through the conflict with his siblings. The couple have been together for nearly two and a half years, and they have faced the media attention around the family divide together.
On June 3, the verdict was handed down in the case brought after Anouchka accused Alain-Fabien and Anthony of misusing the recording of a conversation between her and their father shortly before his death. Alain-Fabien received a suspended fine of 1,000 euros and damages set at 3,000 euros, while Anthony was ordered to pay 2,000 euros in damages, for the use, keeping, or disclosure of a document or recording obtained through an invasion of another person’s privacy.
The Normandy getaway may have been brief, but it showed a family trying to reclaim a little normal life between public scrutiny and unresolved tensions. For Alain-Fabien Delon, the beach at Deauville offered a quieter backdrop than the courtroom.
