The WTA has chosen Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California to host the 2026 WTA Finals, placing one of women’s tennis’ biggest events at one of the sport’s most recognizable venues. The season-ending championship will run from November 8-15 in Indian Wells, according to the tour’s announcement.
The move gives the WTA Finals a new Southern California home and pairs the event with a site already known for elite tennis through the BNP Paribas Open. The venue has built a strong reputation for player and fan amenities, along with the infrastructure needed for a major championship.
What the 2026 event will look like
The WTA Finals bring together the top singles players and doubles teams from the season-long PIF Race to the WTA Finals. Players collect PIF WTA ranking points across 55 events during the year, including the four Grand Slams, and the top eight singles players and doubles teams qualify for the year-end title.
Tickets are already available through pre-sale for select groups, and general public sales are set to open on Thursday, July 2 at wtafinals.com.
