Amazon Recalls Two Products Due to Serious Injury and Death Hazards, Safety Alert Issued

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall for two products sold on Amazon due to significant safety risks. These items pose dangers that could lead to serious injury or death, prompting urgent action for consumer protection.

One of the recalled products is the Anna Queen play yard, which has been identified for creating suffocation and entrapment hazards. The product fails to meet mandatory safety standards, making it unsafe for infants.

Infants using the Anna Queen play yard risk becoming entrapped beneath the mattress or between the mattress and the side of the product. Such entrapment presents a life-threatening hazard if the mattress shifts or gaps form.

The recall affects approximately 70 units sold on Amazon since March. The play yards were priced between $100 and $110 and featured distinctive black fabric sides with mesh panels bordered in gray.

The top rails of these play yards are covered with white fabric printed with multicolored bear faces and paws, including the word “bear.” The mattress shares this bear-themed print, making the product easily identifiable.

Consumers can identify affected play yards by checking packaging and removable tags for “Model: P700” and “Production Date: 202503.” These identifiers confirm the product’s inclusion in the recall.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission strongly advises consumers to stop using these recalled play yards immediately. Continued use could result in severe injury or death due to the identified hazards.

To obtain a full refund, consumers should disassemble the play yard, cutting the fabric cover and mattress into pieces. They must then email a photo of the destroyed product to Anna Queen customer service at tingerservice@outlook.com.

At this time, there have been no reported injuries or incidents linked to the recalled play yards. Nonetheless, the recall reflects a precautionary measure to ensure infant safety.

Consumers who have purchased the Anna Queen play yard from Amazon in recent months are urged to verify the product’s details against recall information. Prompt action is essential to mitigate potential risks.
