Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt’s Pre-Marriage Christmas Agreement with Chris Pratt
Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt revealed a unique deal she made with Chris Pratt before tying the knot. She told Fox News Digital that they agreed the holiday season at home would officially start on November 1st each year.
According to Katherine, "Yes, it was an agreement that my husband and I had prior to getting married. Christmas lights and Christmas music start November 1st." This means their Christmas decorations and festivities begin immediately after Halloween, marking a seamless transition between holidays.
Their daughter Eloise enthusiastically supports this tradition. Katherine shared that Eloise recently said, "Mommy, it goes Halloween and then right into Christmas, right?" to which she replied, "Absolutely. That’s my child right there. She gets it. So we’re aligned."
Katherine expressed her affection for Thanksgiving but emphasized it could be celebrated "in the presence of Christmas lights." She described November 1st as her special time to "thaw from my icicle that I’ve been living in and to really emerge as a Christmas queen."
The holiday spirit in their household includes blasting Christmas music and gathering together as a family. Katherine said, "Every tradition that we do from putting up our Christmas lights on November 1 to gathering all together as a family… is something I’m really grateful and proud of."
Beyond decorations, Katherine finds joy in experiencing the holidays through her children’s eyes. She stated, "Being able to now watch the holidays and see the holidays through children’s eyes is also so special."
Katherine and Chris Pratt married in November, sharing daughters Lyla and Eloise, and welcomed a son named Ford in November. Pratt also has a son, Jack, from a previous marriage.
This early start to the holiday season highlights the couple’s commitment to family traditions. Their agreement reflects a mutual understanding that strengthens their festive celebrations each year.
