Knicks Dominate Raptors 116-94 in December 1st Game Recap

The New York Knicks secured a commanding 116-94 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, marking their fourth consecutive win. Josh Hart led the charge with a near triple-double, scoring 20 points, pulling down 12 rebounds, and dishing out seven assists.

Karl-Anthony Towns contributed significantly with 22 points and eight rebounds, helping the Knicks extend their home record to an impressive 10-1. Jalen Brunson added 18 points, seven assists, and six rebounds, while Mikal Bridges and Miles McBride each chipped in 14 points. The Knicks remain undefeated since Hart was promoted to the starting lineup last week.

Despite the loss, the Raptors saw strong performances from Immanuel Quickley, who tallied 19 points and eight assists against his former team. Scottie Barnes also put up 18 points. Toronto’s record slipped to 14-7 following the defeat, coming off the back of their recent nine-game winning streak ending in Charlotte.

The Knicks established an early dominance with a 24-point lead during the first half. However, the Raptors mounted a determined comeback, narrowing the gap to just three points at 70-67 by midway through the third quarter. Nevertheless, a crucial 16-1 run orchestrated by Hart and Bridges over 4 minutes and 20 seconds restored the Knicks’ large margin.

During this decisive stretch, Hart scored eight points, including two three-pointers, with Bridges both scoring six points and assisting on Hart’s triples. This sequence allowed New York to effectively pull away and close out the game with solid control.
