Fernando Mendoza, quarterback for Indiana, led the nation with 33 passing touchdowns while maintaining just six interceptions. He is notable for steering Indiana to an undefeated 13-0 record this season, underscoring his value as a critical team leader.
Diego Pavia, the Vanderbilt quarterback, helped the Commodores achieve their first-ever 10-win season. Pavia recorded 27 passing touchdowns and 3,192 passing yards, adding nine rushing touchdowns and 826 yards on the ground, illustrating his dual-threat capabilities.
Julian Sayin from Ohio State posted impressive stats with 31 passing touchdowns, 3,323 yards, and a leading 78.4% completion rate in FBS. Sayin was instrumental in Ohio State’s 12-0 regular season and a landmark victory over Michigan, completing 19 of 26 passes for 233 yards and three touchdowns during Rivalry Week.
