Kimberlee Singler, a 37-year-old Colorado mother, has been extradited from the UK to the US. She faces charges of murdering two of her children in Colorado before fleeing to London, where she was arrested in December.

Police responded to a 911 call reporting a burglary at Singler’s Colorado home in the early hours of December 19. Upon arrival, officers discovered Singler’s 9-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son dead, alongside a blood-stained handgun in the bedroom.
DNA tests on the gun and a nearby knife matched profiles of the children and Singler. A third child suffered a serious neck injury but survived after being hospitalized.

Singler challenged her extradition at Westminster Magistrates Court, arguing that her potential sentence would violate European human rights law. The court rejected this claim, allowing her transfer back to the US.
