Breeze Airways is expanding its service at San Antonio International Airport (SAT) by launching three new nonstop flight routes. The initiative aims to improve travel convenience for residents and visitors alike, creating better access to key destinations across the United States.
The first nonstop flight will connect SAT with Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), commencing May 7. This route will operate twice weekly, every Thursday and Sunday, throughout the year, enabling steady travel options to the North Carolina region.
Following closely, Breeze Airways will introduce a nonstop service to Memphis International Airport (MEM) on May 8. Scheduled for Mondays and Fridays, this year-round flight is expected to support both business and leisure travelers heading to the Memphis area.
A third nonstop option is set for launch starting June 10, flying seasonally from SAT to Pensacola International Airport (PNS). This service will operate every Wednesday and Saturday during the summer months, catering to passengers looking for travel opportunities to the Florida Panhandle.
According to Jesus Saenz, director of Airports for the City of San Antonio Aviation Department, these routes reflect strong passenger demand. He emphasized the airport’s commitment to expanding travel choices for the San Antonio community and enhancing connectivity.
Breeze Airways is also introducing two one-stop flights from SAT utilizing its BreezeThru service. These flights do not require passengers to change planes, adding further ease to travel plans.
The one-stop options include a route from San Antonio to Raleigh-Durham with a stop in Memphis on Mondays and Fridays, starting May 8. Additionally, a flight from SAT to Tampa International Airport (TPA) will stop in Pensacola every Wednesday and Saturday during the summer beginning June 10.
These additions come as part of a broader trend of airline expansions and renewed travel demand across the U.S. Breeze Airways, founded by David Neeleman—who established JetBlue Airways—is actively growing its network to tap into evolving passenger preferences.
