Apple’s new AirPods Max 2 headphones introduce significant improvements in active noise cancellation (ANC) and language translation features. Priced at $549, these over-ear headphones aim to enhance user experience with advanced sound technology.
The updated ANC system is 1.5 times more effective than the original model, according to Apple. Transparency mode has also been refined to deliver a more natural sound of surrounding environments while keeping the headphones on.
Audio quality has seen a boost with support for 24-bit, 48kHz lossless audio when connected via USB-C cable. The headphones offer up to 20 hours of battery life on a single charge for extended listening sessions.
Additional features include loud sound reduction to protect hearing and a camera remote option. Users can press the digital crown to snap a photo or start video recording, adding convenience for quick captures.
The AirPods Max 2 personalize audio volume by automatically fine-tuning sound based on user habits over time. This adaptive technology ensures a tailored listening experience for different environments and preferences.
These headphones come in five color options: blue, black, purple, beige, and orange. Preorders began on March 25th, with availability scheduled for early April.
The upgraded AirPods Max 2 put a strong emphasis on premium noise cancellation and improved usability. Enhanced ANC performance and live translation capabilities highlight Apple’s commitment to innovation in audio technology.
