Marvin Bagley III is heading to another Western Conference contender, and this time he will try to carve out a role in Denver. ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that the former Dallas Mavericks big man has agreed to a one-year deal with the Nuggets. The move gives Bagley a new chance after a short but useful stop in Dallas. He joined the Mavericks in the aftermath of the Anthony Davis trade to the Washington Wizards and gave the team production off the bench right away. What Bagley brought to Dallas In 22 games with the Mavericks, Bagley averaged 11 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists. His ability to put the ball on the floor and stretch the defense with his 3-point shot helped him stand out during his brief run with the team. What comes next in Denver Bagley will now play for his sixth NBA team and look to provide depth behind Nikola Jokic in Denver’s frontcourt.
