Rockstar May Be Nearing GTA 6 Trailer 3, State Of Play Could Host The Reveal

The latest wave of GTA 6 chatter centers on a very specific window: next week. A fresh leak claims Rockstar’s third trailer may arrive on Tuesday, 26 May, and the rumor has gained extra attention because it also points to a possible appearance during Sony’s State of Play.

That combination has made the story stand out more than many earlier claims. Previous speculation around GTA 6 often faded without any official announcement, but this time the timing is being discussed alongside Rockstar’s long-watched promotional pattern.

The new claim comes from Graczdari_91 on GTAForums. While not among the most widely known leakers, the account has been credited with accurate information before, including a prior denial of the Best Buy pre-order leak.

Graczdari says the next trailer for GTA 6 is scheduled for Tuesday, 26 May. Some Reddit comments have also argued that the date makes sense when viewed against Rockstar’s usual promotional cadence, which has been closely tracked for some time.

The date has another layer of significance. Before the game was delayed to 19 November, GTA 6 had been expected to launch on 26 May 2026.

That old launch date still appears at the end of Trailer 2, which now creates a marketing issue for Rockstar. A new trailer could help update the campaign by showing the revised November release window instead of the outdated May timing.

Because of that, some observers now see the period between 22 May and 26 May as the most logical window for Trailer 3. Even so, the rumor remains unconfirmed, and earlier GTA 6 leaks have also stalled at the speculation stage.

The same leak has also pulled State of Play into the conversation. Graczdari said a contact at Sony mentioned that something from Rockstar was being prepared for the event’s marketing, although the possibility was also framed as something that may have been said in jest.

State of Play is already expected to be a major show. The livestream is said to run for more than 60 minutes and is likely to include announcements for PlayStation exclusives as well as third-party titles.

Sony is also reportedly planning to stream the event in selected cinemas in the United States. Another leak has suggested that media outlets have been invited to attend the show in person.

Several games are already being associated with the presentation. Wolverine is confirmed to be on the list, alongside a new God of War game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, and a number of other titles.

GTA 6 is not confirmed for the event, but it remains one of the most watched possibilities in the current rumor cycle. If the trailer leak proves accurate, next week could become a major moment for Rockstar’s marketing and one of the most closely followed beats in PlayStation’s event calendar.
