Google One AI Pro Gets Harder to Ignore, Google Health Premium Now Included at No Extra Cost

Google’s AI subscriptions are becoming harder to ignore, not because of the AI tools alone, but because of the premium services now bundled in at no extra cost. For Google One AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers, Google Health Premium has been added as a free benefit, further strengthening the appeal of the plans for people already using Google’s ecosystem.

That new perk arrives after AI Pro also picked up YouTube Premium Lite, giving the lower-tier plan a second notable bonus. With both additions in place, the value proposition is now much clearer, especially for users weighing the monthly price against the growing list of included services.

Google Health Premium is usually priced at $10 per month, so its inclusion immediately changes how the subscription looks on paper. AI Pro itself costs $20 per month, which means the new health benefit alone represents a substantial chunk of the plan’s fee.

Google began rolling out access to the benefit starting yesterday. Eligible users have started receiving notifications that Google Health Premium is now included with their subscription at no additional cost.

The benefit also extends beyond a single account. Google confirmed that when a subscriber shares Google One benefits with family members, Google Health Premium is included for those family members as well.

There is still one condition attached to the offer. Google Health Premium must be available in the user’s country for the benefit to work.

AI Pro now looks especially strong

Although the free health benefit also applies to AI Ultra, AI Pro is the plan drawing the most attention. It sits at a more accessible point in the Google One lineup, and its list of extras has been growing over time.

YouTube Premium Lite is already part of the package and is valued at $9 per month. When that is combined with the $10 value of Google Health Premium, the added perks alone nearly cover the cost of AI Pro, before even counting the plan’s core features.

Those core features still include 5TB of storage and broader access to Gemini. That makes the plan more than just an AI subscription, since it now bundles cloud storage, digital entertainment, and health-related benefits into one monthly fee.

A broader shift in Google’s health branding

This change also comes alongside a larger rebrand of Google’s health services. The Fitbit app has become Google Health, and Fitbit Premium has been renamed Google Health Premium.

For current subscribers, that means the benefit included with AI Pro and AI Ultra is essentially the latest version of Google’s premium health offering. For longtime Fitbit users, it marks another step in the company’s wider shift in health and fitness branding.

The effect is particularly noticeable for families using Google One sharing. One subscription can now provide AI access, storage, and premium health features to multiple users, as long as the service is available in their region.

Google also indicated that the rollout is already underway. Users who want to check their access can look in the Google Health app to see whether the new benefit has been activated on their account.
