A new set of Meta smart glasses has surfaced in FCC paperwork, and the filing may signal a notable shift in how the company brings its wearables to market. Instead of moving through the usual Ray-Ban-connected path, the device was filed directly by Meta itself, hinting that the next AI glasses project may be taking a different route.

The FCC listing points to four model numbers at once: G4QM, G4QR, G4QB, and G4QS. That alone suggests Meta is preparing more than a single device, or at least multiple variants within one product family.
