Casio’s latest G-Shock collaboration is arriving in the US with a visual split that makes one model far easier to miss and the other impossible to ignore. Between the two XG-branded watches now listed on Casio’s official US store, the GMS5600XG-1 stands out immediately thanks to its rainbow-colored vapor deposition glass set against a dark digital display.
The pair consists of the GMAS110XG-4A and the GMS5600XG-1. Both were first introduced in Japan at the end of May 2026, and both have now appeared on Casio’s US online storefront even though the company has not confirmed an exact release date for the American market.
Pricing and US availability
Casio has already attached prices to both models on its US product pages. The GMAS110XG-4A is listed at $200, while the GMS5600XG-1 is shown at $280.
Neither watch has a confirmed US launch date yet. Casio does, however, provide a “Notify Me” option on each product page, giving potential buyers the clearest official way to track availability for now.
The timing may still move relatively soon, since the Japanese launch is scheduled for June 12. That has fueled expectations that the US release will not be far behind, even though Casio has not said so directly.
Why the GMS5600XG-1 draws the most attention
Among the two, the GMS5600XG-1 is the more striking design choice because Casio paired its dark front with a rainbow vapor deposition glass. That contrast gives the square digital watch a more premium and dramatic look than many standard G-Shock releases.
The rest of the watch stays restrained. It uses a black ion-plated stainless steel bezel, a matte black resin case and strap, and a dark digital layout that lets the rainbow glass become the focal point.
The GMAS110XG-4A takes a very different path. It uses a bright pink resin case and strap, along with a glossy hybrid round dial that pushes the design toward a louder and more expressive style.
The XG collaboration behind the design
Both watches are tied to XG, the seven-member hip-hop and R&B group that has served as a G-Shock ambassador since July 2025. The XG logo appears on both dials, and Casio says the designs are inspired by the group’s identity.
That connection helps explain why the two models look so different from one another. One leans into a vivid, eye-catching aesthetic, while the other uses dark materials and reflective glass to create a more subdued but more unusual finish.
Shared G-Shock traits, different layouts
The GMAS110XG-4A is a digital-analog model with two analog hands, a speed indicator dial, and two inset digital displays. Casio also includes world time, a stopwatch, a timer, and multiple alarms.
The GMS5600XG-1 uses a rectangular digital layout and offers a similar feature set. Its stopwatch is described as less precise, and it only includes one alarm.
Both models are rated for 200 meters of water resistance. That keeps them in line with the core G-Shock formula of combining bold styling with everyday practicality.
For now, the official US product pages remain the main place to watch if these XG collaboration watches are on the radar. The pricing is already public, but the final release timing in the US is still left open.
