HP and Ferrari have turned a Windows laptop into something closer to a limited-edition collectible than a device meant for everyday office use. The HP Limited Edition Scuderia Ferrari AI PC will exist in only 4,999 units worldwide, a number that immediately places exclusivity at the center of the product.
That scarcity is paired with a launch timed around Monaco Grand Prix, reinforcing the connection between motorsport, luxury, and technology. Each unit is individually numbered, which further pushes the laptop into collector territory rather than standard premium-computer pricing.
Ferrari styling shapes the entire design
The most obvious cue is the Rosso Magma finish, a dark metallic red inspired by Ferrari’s performance cars. HP and Ferrari also gave the chassis a CNC-milled aluminum body with a zirconium bead-blasted finish, while the underside uses carbon fiber construction.
Several design choices are meant to echo Ferrari’s visual language in more direct ways. A transparent glass panel exposes internal components, taking inspiration from the open engine bay look associated with Ferrari cars.
The palm rest also uses glass, and the haptic touchpad is designed to stay nearly invisible until it lights up when touched. That approach fits Ferrari’s “eyes on the road, hands on the wheel” philosophy, which emphasizes reduced visual distraction.
Performance is positioned well above a standard lifestyle laptop
Under the hood, HP equips the machine with an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor and Intel Arc B390 graphics. The company says the system can deliver up to 180 TOPS of AI performance, a figure aimed at AI workloads, content creation, and demanding productivity tasks.
The display specification also reflects that premium positioning. The laptop uses a 14-inch 3K Tandem OLED+ touchscreen, a setup meant to deliver bright visuals, vivid color, and a high-end viewing experience.
HP also keeps the Ferrari theme alive in the user experience. The laptop comes with Ferrari-themed wallpaper, while the keyboard supports per-key RGB lighting with customizable colors and animations.
Cooling, security, and accessories stay in the same premium lane
HP designed the cooling system to blend into the product’s overall look. The glass surface includes more than 2,000 micro-perforations to support airflow, and the machine also uses louver-style vents inspired by Ferrari.
Security is handled with HP Wolf Security for Business, showing that the laptop is still intended to work as a serious computing device despite its collectible presentation. Buyers also receive a premium Poltrona Frau leather sleeve.
That accessory uses Italian leather said to match the material found in Ferrari vehicle interiors. The bundle extends the brand experience beyond the laptop itself and ties the product more closely to Ferrari’s luxury identity.
A premium price aimed at collectors and fans
HP sets the starting price at $5,599, which places the Scuderia Ferrari AI PC well above mainstream consumer laptops. The target audience is equally specific, with the device aimed at Ferrari fans, collectors, and technology buyers who want something unusually exclusive.
Sales begin in the United States on June 12 through HP’s official website. The laptop will also reach selected international markets, including the UK, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Japan, and Australia.
The project also marks another step for Ferrari into consumer electronics following the introduction of its first electric car, Luce. For HP, the collaboration turns a Windows PC into a numbered piece of brand-driven hardware with a clear collectible appeal.
