Logitech has introduced Mobi Fold as its first foldable mouse, targeting professionals who often work from airports, cafes, and other public spaces. The device is designed for people who want the precision of a mouse without carrying a bulky accessory everywhere they go.
The timing reflects a shift in work habits, as many users already own a mouse but do not always bring it outside the office. Logitech says 72 percent of professionals have a mouse, yet only 26 percent use one in public because traditional models are seen as inconvenient to carry.
Foldable design built for real portability
Mobi Fold’s main advantage is its folding mechanism. When opened, it functions like a full-size mouse, but it can be collapsed into a smaller shape that slips more easily into a pocket or compact bag.
Logitech says the design is meant to preserve comfort while improving portability. The company also claims the mouse can help reduce muscle strain by up to 22 percent compared with a laptop trackpad.
Joseph Mingori, VP and General Manager at Logitech, said the problem has never been a lack of need, but the hassle of carrying a mouse around. “For a long time, people have left their mouse behind simply because it was inconvenient to carry, not because they did not want to use it,” he said.
The mouse also turns on automatically when unfolded and powers off when folded again, removing the need for a manual power button during daily use.
Built for switching between multiple devices
For users who move between laptops, tablets, and other devices, Mobi Fold supports Bluetooth pairing with up to three devices. It is compatible with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS, and Linux.
Users can switch between connected devices without repeating the pairing process. Logitech also includes Google Fast Pair certification for faster setup on compatible devices.
That makes the product especially relevant for mobile workers who frequently change screens while moving between locations. Its value is not only in the foldable body, but also in the convenience of its cross-device connectivity.
Quiet clicks, precise scrolling, and customizable controls
Beyond portability, Mobi Fold includes Adaptive Touch Scrolling for more precise document navigation or faster browsing through content. The feature is aimed at users who regularly read or manage multiple files while working.
The mouse also offers two buttons that can be customized through the Logi Options+ app. Users can assign shortcuts such as app switching or screenshot capture.
According to the product fact sheet, the sensor supports tracking up to 4,000 DPI. Logitech also adds quiet-clicks, making the mouse less distracting in public settings.
Battery life, durability, and sustainability details
On battery life, Logitech says Mobi Fold can last up to 30 days on a full charge. A one-minute charge is said to provide up to 22 hours of use, which suits frequent travelers and mobile professionals.
The company says the device has passed drop tests, includes dust protection, and uses a hinge rated to withstand up to 15 years of daily use. Those details point to a strong focus on durability for intensive everyday carrying.
Sustainability is also part of the product story. Logitech says it uses up to 36 percent post-consumer recycled plastic in the Graphite version, 100 percent post-consumer recycled rare earth magnets, and FSC-certified paper packaging.
Price, colors, and dimensions
Logitech Mobi Fold will be available in Indonesia starting in June 2026 in Graphite and Off-White. It will be sold through Logitech’s official online and offline stores for Rp1.509.000.
When in use, the mouse measures 122 x 57 x 33 mm. Folded, it shrinks to 66 mm in length and 21 mm in thickness, with a weight of 79 grams.
