HyperOS 2 is now rolling out more widely across Xiaomi and Poco devices, and the early wave already covers several flagship, midrange, and tablet models. For many users, the update is especially notable because it brings system optimizations to some of the company’s most popular recent devices.
The rollout is being delivered gradually, so not every eligible device will receive the notification at the same time. That staggered approach is normal for large system updates and usually means users in different regions may see the update at different stages.
Xiaomi Devices Already in the Rollout
On the Xiaomi side, the first batch includes the Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The update has also reached the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro, extending the rollout beyond the main flagship line.
Older premium models are included as well, with Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13 Ultra, and Xiaomi 13 Lite listed among the devices receiving HyperOS 2. The Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro are also part of the current distribution.
Xiaomi has not limited the update to its newest phones. The Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12T, and Xiaomi 12T Pro are also on the list, while the Xiaomi Mix Flip has joined the foldable segment in the same rollout.
Tablets are part of the update plan too. Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 are scheduled to receive HyperOS 2, showing that the software push extends beyond smartphones.
Poco Models That Have Joined the Update
Poco’s early recipients begin with the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro, which sit at the front of the brand’s update cycle. The Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro are also included, giving the F series broad coverage in this first phase.
The Poco X lineup is part of the rollout as well, with the Poco X6, Poco X6 Pro 5G, Poco X5, and Poco X5 Pro 5G all listed. In the more affordable segment, Poco M6 and Poco M6 Pro have also been added.
Poco Pad is included too, confirming that the update is not limited to phones. That makes the current rollout more relevant for users who rely on Poco’s tablet ecosystem as well as its smartphones.
What Users Should Know Before Waiting for the Notification
HyperOS 2 was introduced late last year, and its wider rollout now shows Xiaomi’s plan to expand the software across multiple device tiers. The company appears to be focusing first on newer and higher-end models before broadening the release further.
Users who have not seen the update alert yet can check manually from the system menu. The path is simple: open Settings, go to About Phone, and then select System Update.
If HyperOS 2 is available, it can be downloaded and installed from there. A stable internet connection is recommended so the process runs smoothly and does not get interrupted.
Missing the notification does not necessarily mean a device has been excluded. Because the rollout is happening in phases, some users will simply need to wait until their region or device group is reached.
