Baseus has expanded its Spacemate line with the RD1 Pro, a docking station built for users who want far more than a basic port hub. The headline is simple: 15 connectivity options, 160W of total output, and a built-in power display to keep track of how power is being distributed.
The new model also marks a cleaner product strategy for Baseus. Unlike the earlier Spacemate RD1, which came in separate Mac and Windows versions, the RD1 Pro is offered as a single model that works across both platforms.
A dock aimed at crowded desks
The RD1 Pro is clearly designed for heavy multitasking setups. Baseus includes two USB Type-C PD 100W ports, two USB-C 10 Gbps ports, two USB-A 5 Gbps ports, two USB-A 480 Mbps ports, an SD/TF card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, one USB-C host connection with 100W PD, and two HDMI outputs.
That combination gives the dock enough range for laptops, external storage, wired networking, and multiple displays at the same time. For users who regularly juggle peripherals, the layout suggests convenience is one of its main selling points.
Display output and wireless charging
Baseus says the two HDMI ports support different resolutions, with one running at 4K@60 Hz and the other at 4K@120 Hz. The dock also adds a Qi2.2 wireless charging pad with support for up to 25W.
That makes the RD1 Pro more than a conventional desk accessory. It combines charging and display expansion in one device, which may appeal to users trying to reduce cable clutter.
160W total output with GaN power management
One of the RD1 Pro’s biggest strengths is its 160W total output. Baseus uses GaN technology to distribute power efficiently across its outputs with smarter allocation.
The integrated display helps users see how power is being shared across connected devices. That can be useful when several devices are charging while monitors, storage drives, and other accessories remain active.
Windows and Mac support, with a Mac limitation
Baseus positions the RD1 Pro as a single dock for both Windows and Mac users. Even so, display expansion is not identical across platforms.
On macOS, support for display expansion is more limited and does not include dual-extended displays. Mac users can still rely on the dock for connectivity and charging, but monitor setup flexibility is reduced compared with Windows.
Price and availability
The Spacemate RD1 Pro is priced at $300 and is available through Amazon and Baseus’ official website. Amazon has listed the product for sale since June 11.
Both sales channels are also offering a limited-time $60 discount. With 15 ports, Qi2.2 wireless charging, and a 160W power budget, the RD1 Pro enters the market as a high-capacity docking station for users who need one device to do a lot.
