HONOR has brought a new option to Indonesia’s entry-level smartphone market with the X5c Plus, a device that leans heavily on battery endurance, large storage, and a price that stays within reach.

For users who want a phone for daily learning, work, and light entertainment, the model is positioned as a practical package rather than a flashy one. Its main appeal comes from a combination of long battery life, AI-assisted features, and a straightforward design.

Big battery, built for all-day use

The strongest selling point of the HONOR X5c Plus is its 5,260mAh battery. HONOR says the battery is designed to support a full day of activity, from routine communication to entertainment.

The company also claims the battery can retain more than 80% of its health after 1,000 charging cycles. That detail suggests the phone is aimed not only at short-term convenience but also at longer-term durability.

Large screen in a slim body

The phone comes with a 6.74-inch display and brightness levels of up to 450 nits. HONOR has also added Dynamic Dimming, which is intended to help reduce eye fatigue during long screen sessions.

Despite the large panel, the device keeps a relatively simple and balanced look. It measures 7.89 mm thick and weighs around 186 grams, making it easier to carry and hold than many bulkier phones in the same price range.

Entry-level performance with generous storage

Under the hood, the HONOR X5c Plus uses the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, a configuration that should handle everyday tasks without feeling too limited.

The storage capacity is especially important for users who keep photos, music, and videos on their phones. In the entry-level segment, 128GB offers a practical cushion against the common problem of running out of space too quickly.

AI camera features for simple shooting needs

For imaging, HONOR equips the phone with a 50MP main camera supported by AI. The setup is meant to deliver sharp and detailed shots across different lighting conditions.

On the front, the phone includes a 5MP selfie camera for video calls and basic self-portraits. HONOR also adds AI Object Recognition and AI Photo Sharpness Enhancement to help separate the subject from the background and improve clarity in photos, including documents and text.

MagicOS 9.0 and easy access tools

The X5c Plus runs MagicOS 9.0, which is designed to keep the interface simple and easy to navigate. HONOR also includes Side Fingerprint Unlock and Face Unlock for quicker access to the device.

Another convenience feature is Magic Capsule, which surfaces important notification details without requiring users to open each app individually. That makes the phone feel more practical for everyday communication and light productivity.

Price and availability

The HONOR X5c Plus is offered in Ocean Cyan and Midnight Black. It went on sale in Indonesia on 15 June 2025 through HONOR Experience Store, Erafone, and other official retail partners.

Its price is set at Rp2,299,000. At that level, the phone enters the market as an affordable choice that focuses on battery life, a large display, and AI-supported features rather than premium extras.
