Honor has introduced the Honor 600 Smart 5G globally, and the phone’s main appeal is easy to see. It combines a large battery, a durable build, and a big display in a package aimed at the entry-level segment.
That positioning matters because the device is being promoted as one of the largest-battery models in the Honor 600 family sold outside China. According to KompasTekno, which cited Gizmochina, the phone is also the first in the world to use Snapdragon 4 Gen 4.
Big battery, modest charging speed
The headline feature is the 7,700 mAh battery, which is larger than the 7,000 mAh battery used in the Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro. Honor pairs it with 45W fast charging, and the company says the phone can last up to 28 hours of video streaming or as long as 93 hours in certain usage scenarios.
That battery capacity places the Honor 600 Smart 5G among the more ambitious entry-level devices in its class. It also gives the phone a clear identity in a market where battery life remains one of the most important purchase factors.
Built for durability as well as endurance
Honor is also emphasizing toughness. The Honor 600 Smart 5G carries an IP64 rating, meaning it is protected against dust and water splashes, while SGS certification is said to confirm drop protection from falls of up to 2.5 meters.
The company further states that the handset can survive immersion in water at a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. For buyers who prioritize practical durability over premium design flourishes, that combination may be more relevant than the phone’s price point alone.
Display and performance details
On the front, the phone uses a 6.87-inch LCD panel with HD Plus resolution of 1,592 x 720 pixels. It also supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of up to 1,020 nits, giving it a specification sheet that is competitive for its segment.
Performance comes from the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Honor also includes RAM Turbo, which allows part of the storage to be used as additional virtual memory when needed.
Cameras, software, and other features
The camera setup stays simple, with a 50 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera for selfies. The software side is more modern, as the device runs Android 16 with MagicOS 10.0 layered on top.
Other features include 5G connectivity, stereo speakers with a volume boost mode of up to 400 percent, an AI Button, face unlock, and a USB-C port. Together, these details suggest a phone built to cover the basics while leaning heavily on battery life and durability as its main selling points.
Price and availability
The Honor 600 Smart 5G is offered in a single memory configuration: 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. In France, it is priced at 219 euro, or around Rp 4,4 jutaan, and it is set to go on sale in Europe by the end of June 2026.
Honor is offering the phone in Silver and Black. In Europe, pricing is often higher than in other regions because of tax differences, which helps explain why the listed figure may not reflect future pricing elsewhere.
