OnePlus 15 is facing an unusual problem in India: the price keeps rising, but buyers still cannot easily get one. The flagship phone has now seen a second price increase since launch, even as stock remains unstable across the market.
For consumers, the timing is frustrating. The device is more expensive than it was at launch, yet it is still marked out of stock in key buying channels on the OnePlus India website.
Prices have moved sharply above launch levels
When OnePlus 15 first arrived in India, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant was priced at ₹72,999, while the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model cost ₹79,999.
The latest pricing on the OnePlus website now lists the 12GB + 256GB version at ₹85,999, and the 16GB + 512GB variant at ₹93,999.
That puts both models far above their original launch prices. The increase is significant for buyers who were already weighing a premium flagship purchase.
This is not the first adjustment
The newest price revision follows an earlier round of increases in India. Before the latest change, the 12GB + 256GB model had already risen by ₹5,000 from its starting price.
The 16GB + 512GB version had also gone up by ₹6,000 in a previous adjustment. Together, the changes show a steady upward move rather than a one-time correction.
As a result, the India pricing for OnePlus 15 now sits well above its launch position. That makes the phone notably more expensive in one of OnePlus’ important markets.
Stock remains the other problem
Even with the higher prices, availability has not normalized. On the OnePlus India site, selecting the phone’s configurations and colors still shows the device as out of stock.
The page labels the handset as “under urgent restocking due to high demand.” For the 12GB RAM model, users can sign up for stock alerts.
Buyers interested in the 16GB RAM version can place a pre-order instead. That split suggests demand is still present, but supply has not yet caught up.
Possible reasons behind the increase
OnePlus has not officially explained why the price has been raised again. However, the most likely pressure point appears to be the cost of components.
RAM and storage are the two parts most often associated with higher pricing in flagship smartphones. In a device like OnePlus 15, those components can have a strong impact on the final retail price.
If component costs are driving the change, the effect may not be limited to India. Similar pricing pressure could appear in other regions later, depending on market conditions.
Global pricing has been more stable
Outside India, OnePlus 15 has largely kept its launch pricing in most regions since its global debut in November 2025. Occasional discounts have appeared, but they have not changed the overall pricing picture.
That contrast makes India stand out. While other markets remain relatively stable, India is seeing repeated price changes alongside continued stock shortages.
OnePlus 15 global itself was announced in October 2025. In India, its pricing path has become more aggressive than in many other markets since then.
What buyers are left with
The current situation leaves Indian customers in a difficult spot. The phone is in demand, but units are still scarce, and the official price has climbed again before many buyers could secure one.
That combination makes OnePlus 15 not only more expensive in India, but also harder to buy at the moment. For now, the market shows strong interest without the supply needed to match it.
