Mac Prices Jump Across Indonesia, Some Models Rise by Up to Rp 36 Million

Prices for several Mac computers in Indonesia have climbed at once, affecting nearly the entire lineup from MacBook Neo and MacBook Air to Mac Studio. The latest check on several official Apple distributors in Indonesia on Wednesday morning, July 1, 2026, shows that the new prices are higher than the launch figures.

The increase ranges from Rp 2.75 million to as much as Rp 36 million, depending on the model. Apple had already announced globally on Friday, June 26, 2026, that some of its products would see price adjustments because memory and storage component costs were rising amid strong demand for chips used in the AI market.

MacBook Air M5 also moved higher in both sizes, with the 13-inch model at Rp 25.249.000 and the 15-inch model at Rp 28.999.000. MacBook Pro prices rose sharply as well, especially on the higher-capacity M5 Pro versions, which are now priced at Rp 49.999.000 and Rp 58.499.00.

Desktop Macs were not spared from the adjustment. Mac Mini M4 now costs Rp 19.999.000, while the iMac 24-inch M4 is listed at Rp 29.499.000 and Mac Studio M4 Max at Rp 49.999.000.

The timing of the changes matters because the increase was seen almost immediately after Apple’s global announcement. The company said the move was tied to the surge in memory and storage prices, a cost pressure that has begun to reach Indonesian buyers through local distributor pricing.
