Ugreen has widened its Nexode Air lineup in the United States with a 100W model that focuses on a rare combination: compact size and full-speed charging for a laptop. The charger is already listed on Amazon, where it carries a regular price of US$49.99.
For Prime members, the price drops to US$35.99, which makes the new model more competitive for buyers who want a portable charger without giving up high output. That positioning is likely to matter most for people who travel often or carry their charging gear in a bag every day.
Small body, big output
The main selling point is straightforward. Ugreen says the Nexode Air 100W is built for users who want a charger that is far smaller than many other 100W GaN options, while still being capable of handling demanding devices such as laptops.
Its dimensions are 1.40 x 1.36 x 1.97 inches, and Ugreen claims the design is up to 74% smaller than a typical 100W charger. The prongs can also fold down, making the adapter easier to pack and reducing the chance of snagging inside a bag.
| Specification | Ugreen Nexode Air 100W |
|---|---|
| Ports | 1 x USB-C |
| Size | 1.40 x 1.36 x 1.97 inches |
| Claimed size advantage | Up to 74% smaller than typical 100W chargers |
| Included accessory | USB-C 100W cable |
One port, full 100W
Unlike the Nexode Pro series, the Nexode Air 100W keeps things simple with a single USB-C port. That means it can charge only one device at a time, but the charger can still deliver its full 100W output to that device.
Ugreen says that power level is enough for a wide range of USB-C hardware, including laptops, handheld PCs, tablets, and phones. The company also states that it can charge a MacBook Pro to 55% or an iPhone 17 Pro Max to 68% in 30 minutes.
This makes the charger a practical fit for buyers who care more about strong single-device performance than about multi-device flexibility. In that sense, it is aimed squarely at users who want one compact charger for a laptop and their mobile devices, rather than a desk-friendly hub with multiple outputs.
Safety certifications remain in place
Despite the compact chassis, Ugreen has not stripped away the safety credentials. The Nexode Air 100W carries TÜV Rheinland, UL, and CSA certifications, and it includes standard protections against overheating and overcurrent.
The bundled USB-C 100W cable also helps complete the package, since buyers can start using the charger at full capacity without shopping for an extra cable. Combined with the smaller footprint, that gives the new model a strong pitch for frequent travelers and minimal packers.
Ugreen’s move also expands the Nexode Air family beyond the earlier 45W and 65W versions. The 100W model now gives the lineup a higher-power option for users who need laptop-grade charging in a more pocketable form.
Even so, the limitation is clear: there is only one USB-C port. For buyers who can live with that trade-off, the Nexode Air 100W offers an unusually compact way to carry 100W charging power.
