The Hackathon Digital Cooperatives 2026 has produced three standout solutions that could help speed up the modernization of cooperatives in Indonesia. The results point to a stronger role for digital tools, especially AI, in improving how cooperatives operate and serve members.

In a field crowded with student teams, startups, professionals, and digital talent from across the country, the competition showed that cooperative transformation is no longer a distant concept. The event was held by the Ministry of Cooperatives through the Deputy for Institutional and Cooperative Digitalization, together with PEBS FEB Universitas Indonesia.

Three teams stood out after a long selection process

The event, themed “Building the Future of Cooperatives Through Digital Innovation,” drew hundreds of participating teams. After selection, intensive mentoring, and cross-sector judging, three solutions were chosen for their high implementation potential in the national cooperative ecosystem.

Rank Team Solution Main Focus
1 Daulat Pramana AI AI-based digital solution for cooperatives
2 JJJ Labs Cooperative Simulation Simulation approach to support cooperative development
3 Koperasi Link (Koplink) Supply Chain Orchestration Platform for Local Supply Optimization for SPPG Local supply chain orchestration

Each of the three solutions was seen as relevant to the real problems cooperatives face, from digitalizing operations to strengthening governance. They were also expected to improve member services, optimize local economic potential, and encourage younger talent to take part in technology-driven cooperative development.

AI support was designed to make the solutions more usable

Deputy for Institutional and Cooperative Digitalization Henra Saragih said the strong response from participants showed how digital innovation can accelerate cooperative transformation in Indonesia. In a written statement quoted by www.suara.com, Henra stressed that the hackathon results should not remain at the prototype stage.

“This hackathon proves that cooperative transformation can be accelerated through collaboration between government, academia, industry, communities, and digital talent. We hope the solutions produced do not stop as prototypes, but are developed into real implementation for cooperatives across Indonesia,” Henra said on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

During the program, participants received mentoring on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, product development, business model preparation, and investment strategy. The guidance was intended to make the solutions more ready for real-world use.

What happens next for the winning solutions

The Ministry of Cooperatives said it will continue supporting the development of the best hackathon solutions through strategic partnerships and implementation opportunities. The goal is to help build a more modern, inclusive, and sustainable cooperative digital ecosystem.

Henra also said the public can follow the next phase of the program through the official Hackathon Digital Cooperatives website and the organizer’s official Instagram account. That channel is meant to keep the public informed as the innovation program moves beyond the competition stage.

With three solutions now selected, the push for cooperative digitalization has moved from concept toward practical testing. The government now has a new path to encourage innovations that are closer to cooperative needs and ready for real implementation.
