Xiaomi has begun rolling out HyperOS 3.3 based on Android 17 to three flagship phones, and the largest package reaches 9.5 GB. That download size applies to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, making storage space a key consideration before installation.
The early rollout also includes the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 15T Pro. Availability differs by model, region, and distribution stage, so the update may not appear for all owners at the same time.

The public release for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Xiaomi 17 means users in the Global and European markets do not need to join a testing program. Even so, Xiaomi’s staged software distribution can result in different notification times between users.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro has a more limited path because its Global variant is currently receiving the software through Mi Pilot. Owners outside that testing group may need to wait for a wider release.
3 Xiaomi phones receiving HyperOS 3.3
1. Xiaomi 17 Ultra
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra receives the largest HyperOS 3.3 download in this initial group, at 9.5 GB. The Android 17-based update has been released publicly for both Global and European variants.
Users should ensure sufficient available storage before starting the download. The update can still arrive later for some devices because the rollout is gradual.
2. Xiaomi 17
The Xiaomi 17 is also receiving HyperOS 3.3 as a public release in Global and European markets. Its update package is approximately 7.5 GB.
Public availability allows eligible users to check for the release directly from the system menu. The staged deployment, however, means that not every device will receive it on the same day.
3. Xiaomi 15T Pro
The Global Xiaomi 15T Pro is listed for HyperOS 3.3 with a package size of around 7.5 GB. Its rollout remains under the Mi Pilot program rather than a full public release.
This testing-stage status limits access to selected users at first. A broader rollout may follow after the current distribution phase.
Stability and security take priority
HyperOS 3.3 is focused on system stability improvements and the June 2026 Android security patch. The available changelog does not indicate major visual or interface changes.
Kompas Tekno compiled information on the initial rollout from Gizmochina. More substantial design and feature changes are expected to arrive with HyperOS 4, which is said to launch in August 2026 alongside the Xiaomi 18 series.
Users can check for the update by opening Settings, selecting About Phone, and tapping the HyperOS logo. If HyperOS 3.3 is listed, the on-screen instructions can be used to download and install it.
