Apple Music subscribers in Indonesia are facing higher monthly charges, with the largest increase affecting the Family plan. The plan now costs Rp 99.000 per month, up Rp 14.000 from its previous Rp 85.000 price.
Over 12 months, the monthly increase adds Rp 168.000 to the cost of an Apple Music Family subscription. The revised annual total is Rp 1.188.000, compared with Rp 1.020.000 under the earlier rate.
Family Plan Keeps Separate Accounts
The higher-priced plan can still be shared with up to six family members through Family Sharing. Each member retains an individual account, music library, and personalised recommendations despite being covered by one shared payment.
This structure distinguishes the Family plan from a single-user subscription while allowing household members to keep their listening activity separate. The price change therefore has the greatest impact on customers who manage a shared subscription.

The Individual plan has also moved higher, reaching Rp 59.000 per month from Rp 55.000. The Rp 4.000 monthly difference amounts to an additional Rp 48.000 over a year.
Kompas Tekno reported that the earlier Individual price of Rp 55.000 was listed in November 2025. The Student plan, however, remains unchanged at Rp 35.000 per month.
Student Plan Remains the Lowest-Cost Option
The unchanged Student rate makes it the least expensive Apple Music option in Indonesia. It is also the only plan in the current comparison that did not receive a price adjustment.
The gap between the plans is now more pronounced for subscribers deciding whether a shared subscription is worthwhile. The choice depends on the number of users and whether separate accounts are needed within one family group.
Apple One Prices Also Stand Higher
The Apple Music adjustment comes alongside pricing changes for Apple One in Indonesia. Apple One combines Apple Music, iCloud Plus, Apple TV Plus, and Apple Arcade in a single monthly package.
