Indonesia’s two representatives will begin their MSC EWC 2026 campaigns on consecutive days in Paris, France. Team Vitality plays True Rippers on July 22, followed by ONIC Esports against ENTITY7 on July 23.
Both opening matches are scheduled for 19.00 WIB. The winners will advance to the Upper Bracket Semifinals of their respective groups.

The tournament runs from July 22 to August 1 and features 16 teams. The group stage lasts five days before the playoff round begins on July 29.
Each group contains eight teams, with four advancing to the Knockout Stage. The other four teams in each group will be eliminated before the playoffs.
Different Paths in Groups A and B
Team Vitality is part of Group A alongside Team Vamos, Team Falcons MENA, Team Falcons PH, Guangzhou Gaming, True Rippers, Team Spirit, and IGNITE Gaming. The team is the new identity of Bigetron by Vitality after winning MPL ID Season 17.
The listed Team Vitality roster includes Shogun, Nnael, Moreno, Emann, and Finn. Its match against India’s True Rippers will be the third fixture of the Group A opening day.
ONIC Esports competes in Group B with Selangor Red Giants, Pro Esports, Team Liquid, Aurora Gaming, ENTITY7, Yangon Galacticos, and Geekay Esports. ONIC entered the event after finishing as the MPL ID Season 17 runner-up.
The listed ONIC lineup consists of Lutpii, Kairi, Sanz, Kelra, and Kiboy. Their first opponent, ENTITY7, represents South America.

Deciders and Playoffs
Decider Matches are scheduled for July 26. Group A plays at 16.00 WIB and 17.30 WIB, while Group B plays at 19.00 WIB and 20.30 WIB.
According to a schedule compiled by Kompas Tekno from Liquipedia, the groups use a double-elimination, or GSL, format. Every group-stage series is played as best of 3.
The playoff stage uses best-of-5 series, with the grand final on August 1 played as best of 7. All MSC 2026 matches at EWC will be available through the official Esports World Cup YouTube channel.
