An early route to the Knockout Stage
MSC 2026 features 16 teams split into two groups of eight. Each group uses a double-elimination system, with all group-stage matches played as Best of 3 series.
Only four teams from each group can reach the Knockout Stage. Teams that win their Upper Bracket Semifinals matches secure their places in the next phase directly.

Team Vitality is Indonesia’s first representative to play in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament. The event is part of the Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, France.
The roster consists of Shogun, Nnael, Moreno, Emann, and Finn. The team previously competed under the Bigetron by Vitality identity before adopting the Team Vitality name.
Group A opens with four series
The Team Vitality versus True Rippers series is the third Group A match on the opening day. Team Vamos will play Team Falcons MENA first, followed by Team Falcons PH against Guangzhou Gaming.

ONIC Esports begins a day later
Indonesia’s second representative, ONIC Esports, will start its MSC 2026 campaign on Thursday, July 23, 2026. The team faces South American side Entity7 at 19:00 WIB in a Group B opening match.
ONIC Esports fields Lutpii, Kairi, Sanz, Kelra, and Kiboy after finishing as runner-up in MPL ID Season 17. Group B also contains Selangor Red Giants, Pro Esports, Team Liquid, Aurora Gaming, Yangon Galacticos, and Geekay Esports.
