Oppo has expanded its F33 lineup in India with two models that push durability and battery life to the front of the conversation. The new Oppo F33 Pro 5G and Oppo F33 5G arrive with a 7,000mAh battery, 80W SuperVOOC charging, and a design built around stronger protection for everyday use.
That approach sets the series apart in the crowded midrange segment. Instead of focusing only on core performance, Oppo is clearly using rugged protection, long endurance, and practical camera differences to define the two phones.
Built for tougher daily use
Both models carry MIL-STD-810H certification, which signals a higher level of resistance for regular handling and less predictable environments. Oppo also gives the pair IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for water and dust protection, making the series more than a standard mid-tier release.
The Oppo F33 Pro 5G goes a step further with IP69K. That level is designed to handle high-pressure water jets from multiple directions, a feature that is still uncommon in this price class.
This durability-first positioning makes the lineup more appealing to users who spend time outdoors or need a phone that can better tolerate demanding routines. The hardware message is clear: the F33 series is meant to feel dependable, not fragile.
Display and performance stay competitive
Beyond toughness, both phones use a 6.57-inch flat AMOLED display. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,400 nits, keeping the visual experience aligned with current expectations in the segment.
Under the hood, Oppo equips both devices with the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX built on a 6nm process. The setup is intended to balance power efficiency with responsive day-to-day performance.
The two phones also run ColourOS 16 based on Android. In terms of weight, the Pro model comes in at around 194 grams, while the standard version is slightly lighter at about 189 grams.
Camera split gives the Pro a clear edge
The main difference between the two devices appears on the front. The Oppo F33 Pro 5G features a 50MP ultrawide selfie camera with autofocus, while the Oppo F33 5G uses a 16MP front camera.
On the back, both phones share the same setup: a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP portrait lens. This keeps the standard model well covered for everyday photography, while the Pro version is clearly aimed at users who want more from selfies and video calls.
That camera distinction gives the lineup a more defined separation. The Pro is positioned as the stronger creator-friendly option, while the regular model keeps things simpler without abandoning the core imaging features.
Large battery and fast charging remain the headline features
Battery life is one of the strongest selling points of the series. Each device packs a 7,000mAh battery, which is large by midrange standards, and both support 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.
That combination is likely to matter most to buyers who prioritize long usage time and shorter charging breaks. A larger battery reduces how often the phone needs to be plugged in, while 80W charging helps keep downtime manageable when power does run low.
Pricing, colors, and availability
The Oppo F33 Pro 5G is offered in two memory options. The 8GB/256GB version is priced at Rs. 40,999, while the 8GB/128GB variant costs Rs. 37,999.
Color choices for the Pro model include Misty Forest, Starry Blue, and Passion Red. The Oppo F33 5G comes in three configurations: 8GB/256GB at Rs. 37,999, 8GB/128GB at Rs. 34,999, and 6GB/128GB at Rs. 31,999.
The standard model is available in Forest Green and Pearl White. Sales will run through Amazon, Flipkart, the OPPO E-Store, and offline retail stores.
Oppo says the F33 Pro 5G will be available from 23 April 2026, followed by the F33 5G on 26 April 2026. Early buyers can also receive launch-period offers such as bank discounts or exchange benefits across the lineup, along with 180 days of free protection against accidental and liquid damage and no-cost screen damage coverage.
