One Package Across 16 Countries, Tri’s Hajj Internet Starts at Rp650,000

Travel for Hajj often moves across more than one country, and Tri is positioning its Tri Ibadah Haji 2026 service to meet that reality with a single internet package that works in 16 countries without changing SIM cards. The offering is designed to keep pilgrims connected from Indonesia, through transit points, and on arrival in the Holy Land.

The main appeal is simplicity. By using one service across multiple destinations, pilgrims can maintain communication with family, coordinate with their group, and access important travel information without dealing with repeated technical setup.

Coverage across 16 countries

Tri says the package can be used in 16 countries, with Saudi Arabia as the main destination. Several transit countries are also included in the coverage area, such as Malaysia, Turkey, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Singapore.

This setup removes the need to replace a SIM card each time the traveler crosses a border. Instead, users only need to activate the package before departure and make sure roaming is turned on in the device.

Package options and pricing

The service comes with several quota choices and active periods to match different travel needs. Prices start from Rp650.000, with options that run for 30 days or 45 days.

The available packages are:

  1. 19GB + 1GB domestic for 30 days at Rp650.000
  2. 24GB + 1GB domestic for 45 days at Rp750.000
  3. 25GB + 1GB domestic for 30 days at Rp850.000
  4. 30GB + 1GB domestic for 45 days at Rp950.000

Each package includes domestic quota, allowing users to start using the service while still in Indonesia.

Why domestic quota matters

The inclusion of domestic quota gives pilgrims a chance to prepare communication needs before leaving the country. It also means the service is not limited only to overseas use, but can support the journey from the earliest stage.

Tri also adds up to 2GB of domestic quota during the promotional period from 17 February to 21 May 2026. That extra allocation strengthens the package’s role as a travel companion from departure preparation until the return trip is complete.

Purchase channels and user convenience

Pilgrims can buy the Tri Ibadah Haji package through the bima+ app, the *899# USSD code, or Tri’s official WhatsApp channel. Multiple purchase channels make the service easier to prepare in advance, especially for users who want everything arranged before departure.

Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, through the Tri brand, presents the service as part of its effort to support comfort and peace of mind during the pilgrimage. Bilal Kazmi noted that connectivity during Hajj is not only about getting internet access, but also about helping pilgrims stay calm while carrying out their worship.

With broad country coverage, no SIM swap requirement, and several quota choices, the service is built to reduce practical concerns during travel. It allows pilgrims to stay connected while focusing on worship and maintaining important communication throughout the journey.
