ASUS has expanded its gaming laptop lineup in Indonesia with three new models that place AI features alongside performance. The new additions are the ROG Zephyrus G14, ROG Strix G16, and ASUS TUF Gaming A14.
The company’s latest direction is clear: gaming laptops are no longer being positioned only around raw graphics power. ASUS is emphasizing local AI processing through NPU support, making the devices more relevant for gaming, productivity, content creation, and everyday tasks that benefit from faster and more efficient on-device computing.
AI runs closer to the user
One of the standout elements across the new lineup is OMNI Virtual Assistant. This local AI assistant works directly on the device and uses the NPU, which means certain tasks do not always depend on an internet connection.
That approach aligns with the use of AMD Ryzen AI processors based on the Zen 5 architecture. ASUS presents the combination as a way to deliver faster, smarter, and more efficient performance across gaming and non-gaming use cases.
ROG Zephyrus G14 focuses on portability
Among the three, the ROG Zephyrus G14 is the most travel-friendly option. It is built for users who want a compact laptop without giving up serious capability for work and entertainment.
The device uses a ROG Nebula HDR OLED 3K 120Hz display with Delta E < 1 color accuracy, a specification that makes it suitable for video editing and graphic design. It is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 and comes in a CNC Aluminum body that measures 1.59 cm thick and weighs 1.5 kg.
ASUS sets the price of the ROG Zephyrus G14 at Rp40.999.000.
Strix G16 is built for maximum performance
For users who want a more aggressive gaming machine, the ROG Strix G16 sits at the top of the performance stack in this new trio. ASUS equips it with an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU with a TGP of 175W.
The display uses a 16-inch ROG Nebula Display HDR panel with a refresh rate of up to 300Hz and a 3ms response time. That combination is aimed at keeping motion smooth in competitive games and demanding AAA titles.
To support sustained performance, ASUS includes ROG Intelligent Cooling with Tri-Fan technology and Full Surround Vents. The ROG Strix G16 is offered in two variants: Rp32.999.000 for the FHD+ 165Hz model and Rp35.999.000 for the QHD 300Hz version.
TUF Gaming A14 takes a tougher path
The ASUS TUF Gaming A14 follows a different priority, with a stronger focus on durability and efficiency. It has passed MIL-STD 810H military certification, indicating readiness for use in a variety of conditions.
Inside, ASUS uses the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 392 paired with 32GB of unified memory. The company also states that its graphics capability can compete with the RTX 5060 class of laptop GPUs, keeping the A14 relevant for both gaming and productivity.
The price of the ASUS TUF Gaming A14 is Rp29.999.000, making it the most accessible of the three new models while still keeping AI features in the picture.
Post-purchase support is part of the package
ASUS is also strengthening the ownership experience through after-sales support. Every purchase of the latest ROG and TUF Gaming laptops comes with a 2-year International Warranty and 2-year ASUS VIP Perfect Warranty, including protection for damage caused by negligence.
For the ROG lineup, ASUS continues to bundle additional services such as free shipping, Laptop Spa, and FastLane Priority Service. With these three new laptops, ASUS is pushing a combination of gaming power, AI processing, and practical support in a single ecosystem aimed at modern users.
