A wave of price changes is now visible across several smartphone lineups in India, with Nothing, OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Realme all updating their official listings. For buyers waiting to upgrade, the timing matters because the higher prices are already appearing on brand websites rather than staying at the level of market speculation.
The changes are not limited to one segment. Entry-level, midrange, and premium models have all been affected, and some of the most familiar devices in each brand’s catalog now carry new tags.
Nothing adjusts several models upward
Nothing appears to be among the brands making the sharpest moves. The Phone (3a) Lite now starts at Rs 27,999, up from Rs 24,999, while the 256GB version is listed at Rs 29,999.
The Phone (4a) has also become more expensive. Its 8GB + 128GB variant is now priced at Rs 34,999, and the 12GB + 256GB model is listed at Rs 40,999.
The biggest jump in this lineup is on the Phone (4a) Pro. That model now ranges from Rs 44,999 to Rs 50,999 depending on the variant.
OnePlus and Xiaomi also revise prices
OnePlus has refreshed the pricing of its latest phones in India as well. The OnePlus 15 with 12GB + 256GB memory now costs Rs 77,999, up from Rs 72,999.
The higher OnePlus 15 configuration with 16GB + 512GB has risen from Rs 79,999 to Rs 85,999. The OnePlus 15R has also moved up, and its starting price is now Rs 52,999 after a Rs 2,500 increase.
Xiaomi is following the same trend through the Redmi Note 15 Pro series. On Mi.com, the Redmi Note 15 Pro now begins at Rs 31,999, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ starts at Rs 39,999.
According to tipster Sanju Choudhary, some higher-end variants in that lineup have gone up by as much as Rs 2,000. That means the adjustment is reaching beyond the base models and into higher configurations too.
Realme sees the widest impact
Realme is the brand with the broadest spread of affected devices. Six phones are listed as impacted, and each storage variant has reportedly gone up by Rs 1,000.
The models named in the update are the Realme C71 4G, Realme 15x 5G, Realme 15T 5G, Realme C85 5G, Realme 16 Pro 5G, and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G. Their new starting prices now fall between Rs 11,999 and Rs 44,999, depending on the model.
That pattern matters because it shows the increase is not confined to one product tier. Realme’s pricing structure has shifted across multiple devices in a short span, which makes the change more visible to shoppers comparing options across the brand’s lineup.
What is driving the change
No official explanation has been issued by the brands involved, but rising component costs are emerging as the likely trigger. Memory and chipset prices are being cited as the main pressure points behind the revisions.
A screenshot of an email reportedly sent by Realme to its partners says higher memory and chipset costs forced the company to revise its selling prices. If that message is accurate, the pressure is affecting more than one manufacturer.
Similar concerns were also raised by Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing. He warned that smartphone brands may face a choice between raising prices or cutting specifications, and said the “higher specs at lower prices” model is becoming harder to sustain. He also suggested that in some cases prices could climb by 30 percent or more, while memory components that once cost under $20 could exceed $100 for high-end models by the end of the year.
For consumers, that means the purchase window is becoming more important. With official prices already changed on company sites, the increase is no longer just an early signal from the market but a live shift that affects what buyers will actually pay.
