Motorola is pushing its products further into the lifestyle space with a new special edition package that focuses as much on appearance as on hardware. The Brilliant Collection pairs the Motorola Signature with Moto Buds 2 Plus, using Swarovski crystal accents and Pantone color choices to turn both devices into a coordinated premium set.
The message is clear: Motorola wants these products to be seen as design objects, not just electronics. In a market where many brands compete mainly on performance claims, this collection leans on fashion cues, visual identity, and a more luxurious presentation.
Design takes the lead
At the center of the collection is the Motorola Signature special edition. Its back panel uses a 3D quilted pattern with a smooth, silk-like texture, finished in Pantone Violet Indigo.
Motorola also adds an Amethyst Swarovski crystal arrangement on the rear of the device. The layout is designed to resemble a constellation when viewed from behind, reinforcing the idea that the phone is meant to stand out visually.
That approach reflects how Motorola appears to be positioning itself for 2026. The company is shaping the device around premium lifestyle appeal, blending technology with fashion and a stronger design identity.
Hardware stays familiar
Despite the striking makeover, the phone inside the Brilliant Collection is not a new model. The Motorola Signature keeps the same hardware specification as the version released earlier in the same year.
It still comes with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, three 50-megapixel cameras, and a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery. The emphasis of this edition is therefore not on internal changes, but on how the product looks and feels.
A matching audio companion
The collection also includes Moto Buds 2 Plus, which follow the same visual direction as the phone. They use the same Violet Indigo color, with Swarovski accents on the stems.
Motorola extends the treatment to the charging case as well, where a Swarovski crystal detail appears on the Motorola logo. The result is a set that feels intentionally coordinated rather than assembled as separate products.
Pricing and availability
The Brilliant Collection will arrive in the UK soon with a price of £1,200. Sales will run through Motorola’s official online store, John Lewis, and Selfridges.
That retail lineup places the collection in a more exclusive setting. The inclusion of premium sellers such as Selfridges supports Motorola’s push into a more fashion-conscious and upscale segment.
Part of a broader strategy
This is not Motorola’s first attempt at a Swarovski-themed product line. The company previously launched its first Brilliant Collection in mid-2025, which included a Razr foldable phone and Moto Buds Loop earphones.
Motorola has also used a similar collaboration-based approach for a special FIFA World Cup edition. Taken together, those moves suggest the company is building a clearer identity around branded partnerships, premium presentation, and products that can function as style statements as much as mobile devices.
