Mitsubishi has given the Destinator and Xforce a more assertive visual identity by leaning on glossy surfaces, sharper lines, and a stronger interpretation of its Dynamic Shield design. The result is an SUV pair that looks more modern and premium without abandoning the tough character expected in this segment.
That direction matters because today’s SUV buyers often look for a clear visual statement as much as durability. Mitsubishi appears to be answering that demand by making the Destinator and Xforce easier to recognize in city traffic and more striking when seen on longer leisure drives.
A front end built to stand out
The most immediate change sits at the front, where the latest Dynamic Shield treatment gives both models a firmer and more confident face. Mitsubishi pairs that look with a three-dimensional acrylic grille, then adds black piano and chrome accents to sharpen the premium impression.
Under sunlight or night lighting, the grille area appears more reflective and polished. That visual effect helps the front end project a more upscale character while keeping the SUV stance intact.
The T Shape LED headlamps also play a major role in the new identity. Beyond the futuristic look they create at night, they are described as supporting better visibility for daily use.
Glossy surfaces define the new character
What separates these two SUVs even more clearly is the use of glossy finishing across several exterior areas. The reflective treatment makes the body details feel more vivid when light hits the surface, and it gives the vehicles a cleaner, richer look in everyday use.
Mitsubishi frames this approach through the idea of Silky and Solid. The upper body is shaped to appear sleeker and smoother, while the lower section is designed to look stronger and more muscular.
That contrast keeps the SUV presence intact while adding a more refined tone. Piano black accents on the grille, pillars, and other exterior details further reinforce that premium feel by adding sharper visual contrast.
A silhouette that feels lighter and more modern
The side profile continues the modern theme with a floating roof design that makes the roofline seem to hover above the body. This effect gives the Destinator and Xforce a lighter visual stance and helps their proportions look more stylish.
The two-tone look works especially well with the white-and-black combination. Quartz White Pearl and Jet Black Mica are used to maximize the glossy effect, while black roof rails add another elegant detail to the overall presentation.
That setup makes the SUVs feel at home in urban settings, yet still suitable for trips beyond the city. The design language is built to balance visual sophistication with the stronger presence buyers expect from an SUV.
Rear styling keeps the Mitsubishi DNA visible
The rear section carries a different kind of strength through the Hexaguard Horizon concept, which draws inspiration from the legendary Pajero. Its hexagonal motif gives the back end a firmer and more rugged look.
Large fender flares add to that athletic impression, while 18-inch wheels help underline the sporty and off-road-ready visual character. Together, those elements keep the models connected to Mitsubishi’s established SUV identity.
The overall package shows a deliberate balance. The Destinator and Xforce are meant to look premium and futuristic, but still grounded in the toughness that defines the segment and the brand’s SUV heritage.
