Apple’s next software cycle may be less about flashy standalone AI tools and more about making everyday iPhone actions feel smarter by default. Leaks surrounding iOS 27 point to a broader plan in which Apple Intelligence is woven directly into the core apps people already use most.
That approach would shift the focus from obvious AI add-ons to quieter system-level assistance. Photos, Camera, Wallet, Health, and Siri are all expected to sit at the center of this deeper integration.
AI built into familiar workflows
Rather than presenting AI as a separate layer, Apple is said to be embedding it inside the operating system itself. The goal appears to be a more natural experience, where intelligent features appear inside routines that already feel familiar.

Photos may get the biggest creative upgrade
