Michael Taylor, Director of IT at Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1, pointed to the pressure behind every technology decision. He said every millisecond and every euro in the budget must deliver maximum value, which is why the move from Tensor to TeamViewer ONE is aimed at reducing downtime and improving staff productivity.

Taylor also noted that TeamViewer technology had already been used in team operations before the official partnership was announced. That prior use gave the team an early indication that the solution could hold up under extreme pressure while producing better-quality data.

A system built for a demanding environment

TeamViewer CEO Oliver Steil described the Mercedes F1 environment as one of the most challenging and complex IT ecosystems in sport. He said TeamViewer ONE’s ability to manage thousands of endpoints with zero tolerance for error demonstrates the platform’s resilience.
