Samsung’s latest Good Lock compatibility update for One UI 9.0 gives Galaxy users a mixed picture. While a large number of popular modules are already ready to use, eight well-known plugins are still not working on the new software.
That matters because Good Lock remains one of Samsung’s biggest tools for deep customization on Galaxy phones. For users who rely on it to adjust the look and behavior of the system, the compatibility list is the quickest way to tell what will continue to function during the One UI 9.0 transition.
Which modules are already supported
Samsung says 16 Good Lock modules are now compatible with One UI 9.0. The list covers a wide range of functions, from camera and display tools to gestures, sound, and themes.
The supported modules include Camera Assistant, Display Assistant, Dropship, Edge Lighting+, and Edge Touch. Galaxy To Share, Gallery Assistant, Keys Cafe, Nice Catch, and Nice Shot are also included, along with One Hand Operation+, RegiStar, Routine+, and Sound Assistant.
Theme Park and Wonderland are part of the compatible group as well. That means users can still access several of Good Lock’s most used customization features even as Samsung’s new software rollout begins.
The missing eight plugins
Not every favorite has made the move to One UI 9.0 yet. Samsung confirms that eight Good Lock plugins are still not functioning properly on the new version.
Those affected modules are ClockFace, Game Booster+, Home Up, LockStar, MultiStar, NavStar, NotiStar, and QuickStar. Several of these are closely tied to core parts of the Galaxy experience, including the home screen, navigation, notifications, and lock screen layout.
For many users, those are exactly the modules that define Good Lock’s value. Their absence means some of the most visible personalization options are still waiting for compatibility updates.
What this means for Galaxy users
The compatibility status gives beta users a practical guide to what they can expect right now. If a module fails to appear or does not work normally on One UI 9.0, the current list suggests that Samsung has not finished support for it yet.
That is especially relevant for Galaxy S26 series users trying the beta. Samsung released the beta version for the series before this early compatibility map became available, and the update brings major system changes that affect modules tied closely to the core software.
Samsung says it is working to make the remaining Good Lock apps compatible with the new software. However, it has not provided a schedule for updates to each plugin.
Still useful, even if incomplete
Even with eight plugins still pending, Good Lock remains useful in the early stage of the beta. Tools such as One Hand Operation+, Theme Park, Sound Assistant, and Camera Assistant are already available.
This situation is not unusual for Good Lock. Because many of its modules connect so closely to the operating system, major jumps in One UI often require additional technical adjustments before every plugin is ready.
For now, the current compatibility list offers reassurance on one side and caution on the other. Users can keep using the modules that are already supported, while those who depend on Home Up, LockStar, NavStar, or QuickStar will need to wait for the next compatibility update.
