Apple Watch-Like Smartwatches Start at Around Rp 1 Million, and the Battery Life Stands Out

Smartwatch shoppers no longer need to look at premium pricing to get an Apple Watch-like look. Several models from Realme, Vivo, Redmi, and Huawei now sit in a range that starts at around Rp 1 jutaan, while still offering large displays, square bodies, and feature sets that go well beyond basic timekeeping.

The appeal is not limited to design alone. These watches also bring Bluetooth calling, GPS, NFC, health tracking, larger batteries, and in some cases more premium materials, making the category more competitive than its price tag might suggest.

A familiar design language at a lower cost

The most recognizable trait across these models is the square case with rounded corners. Some also add a digital crown on the right side, which makes the overall look even closer to Apple Watch styling.

Even with a similar visual approach, each brand keeps its own identity through display size, brightness, battery life, sports modes, and body materials. That difference matters, because the value is often in the details rather than the shape alone.

Realme and Vivo lead the affordable end

Among the lower-priced options, Realme Watch 5 stands out with a price of 70 euro, or around Rp 1,1 juta. It uses a 1,97-inch AMOLED display with a 60 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits.

Realme also equips the watch with Bluetooth calling, GPS, NFC, heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, and 108 sports modes. Its 460 mAh battery is claimed to last up to 14 days on a single charge.

Vivo Watch GT 2 is another budget-friendly option. The Bluetooth version costs 499 yuan, or around Rp 1,1 juta, while the eSIM version is priced at 699 yuan, or around Rp 1,6 juta.

Vivo’s model comes with the same square, rounded-corner approach and a 695 mAh battery. Its claimed endurance reaches up to 33 days on one full charge, which makes it one of the strongest battery-focused choices in this group.

Bigger and brighter displays in the mid-range

Redmi Watch 5 moves the focus to screen size. In the UK, it is priced at 89,99 poundsterling, or around Rp 1,8 juta, and global availability is set to begin on 15 January 2026.

The watch carries a 2,07-inch AMOLED panel with brightness up to 1.500 nits. It also supports Always-On Display, so important information can stay visible without fully waking the screen.

Its body still follows the familiar square shape with rounded corners. The combination of a large, bright panel and a slim profile makes it a strong option for users who prioritize visual clarity.

Huawei pushes further on materials and brightness

Huawei Watch Fit 5 is sold in Indonesia for Rp 2,4 juta. It uses a 1,82-inch AMOLED display with peak brightness up to 2.500 nits and includes Always-On Display as well as a digital crown on the right side.

The watch keeps a slim square body with narrow bezels, which preserves the Apple Watch-like profile. At the same time, it runs on Huawei’s own interface and ecosystem, setting it apart from the other names in this category.

Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro sits higher at Rp 3,7 juta in Indonesia. It retains the same square layout, thin bezels, and digital crown, but adds titanium material and 2.5D sapphire glass.

The most notable feature on the Pro model is its diabetes risk indicator. Huawei says the function uses sensors to collect physiological data, including during rest over a period of 3 to 14 days, to assess diabetes risk, but it is not a blood sugar measuring tool.

Taken together, these watches show how wide the Apple Watch-style segment has become, with prices ranging from around Rp 1,1 juta to Rp 3,7 juta. Realme and Vivo target entry-level buyers, Redmi emphasizes a larger and brighter screen, while Huawei offers a more premium build and more specific health features.
