RedMagic is taking a more balanced route with the global version of the 11S Pro, and that choice may matter more to everyday gamers than a raw spec race. The phone is set to launch on 27 May at 8:00 AM EDT or 5:30 PM IST, arriving just days after its China debut.
The international model is not a direct copy of the domestic version. Instead, RedMagic has adjusted the hardware mix so the device keeps its gaming identity while becoming more practical for daily use.
A more usable battery and charging setup
The most notable change is the battery and charging combination. The global RedMagic 11S Pro comes with a 7,500mAh battery, 80W wired charging, and 80W wireless charging.
That setup gives the global model a different balance from the two China variants. The standard China version uses a larger 8,000mAh battery but does not support wireless charging, while the RedMagic 11S Pro+ pairs a 7,500mAh battery with 120W charging.
For now, RedMagic has only confirmed the standard 11S Pro for global markets. There is still no confirmation that the Pro+ will launch outside China.
Gaming hardware remains the core focus
RedMagic has not softened the device’s gaming-first identity. The phone uses a 6.85-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, aimed at delivering smooth visuals during gameplay.
The panel is also claimed to reach a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. That should help with screen visibility in bright environments or when the phone is used outdoors.
Under the hood, the RedMagic 11S Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version. The chip is overclocked and designed to handle heavy workloads and extended gaming sessions with stable performance.
Memory options are expected to include 12GB and 16GB of RAM, while internal storage may go up to 512GB.
Cameras stay complete without breaking the full-screen look
The camera setup is straightforward but well-rounded. RedMagic 11S Pro carries a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide camera for wider shots.
At the front, the phone uses a 16MP under-display camera. That approach keeps the front panel clean and avoids a punch hole, which preserves a more immersive view for gaming and media.
The under-display design also helps give the phone a distinct identity compared with many other flagship devices. For users who spend time gaming or watching content, the uninterrupted screen layout remains one of the biggest visual advantages.
Global version aims for a more practical middle ground
RedMagic’s global strategy suggests a deliberate compromise rather than a simple export of the China model. The company appears to be aiming for a version that better matches how international buyers may use the phone day to day.
Compared with the China standard model, the global version gives up some battery capacity but adds wireless charging, which may make it easier to live with outside gaming sessions. At the same time, it still keeps a large battery, fast wired charging, and the brand’s usual high-performance focus.
With the 27 May launch approaching, the standard RedMagic 11S Pro is set to be the main face of the international rollout. Its combination of a 144Hz AMOLED screen, an overclocked flagship chip, a 7,500mAh battery, and 80W wired plus 80W wireless charging makes it one of RedMagic’s most balanced gaming phones for markets beyond China.
