8000mAh Power Meets Red Magic 11S Pro’s Gaming Ambition, A China Launch Built For Marathon Play

Red Magic has put battery life at the center of its latest gaming phone launch in China, and the number doing the most work is 8000mAh. That capacity belongs to the standard Red Magic 11S Pro, making the device stand out immediately in a segment that usually competes first on raw performance.

The larger story, however, is that Red Magic is not relying on battery size alone. The series also combines a large OLED display, aggressive cooling, dedicated gaming optimization, and features that aim to make mobile play feel closer to a PC-style experience.

A display built for full-screen gaming

The Red Magic 11S Pro uses a 6.85-inch OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. With a screen-to-body ratio of 95.3 percent, the front of the device is kept almost fully occupied by the display.

The panel uses BOE’s under-display lighting material X10, while the 16-megapixel selfie camera is placed beneath the screen. Eye protection is supported by SGS and TÜV Rheinland certification, and security is handled by a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

Snapdragon power with extra gaming tuning

Inside the series is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version, with a peak CPU clock of 4.74GHz. Red Magic says the device can score more than 4.6 million points in AnTuTu.

The company also adds its own Red Core R4 gaming chip. That component is designed to support graphics rendering, frame interpolation, touch response, and overall gaming performance.

Cooling made for long sessions

To keep the phone stable during extended play, Red Magic uses a dual cooling system that combines liquid and air cooling. The liquid cooling path has also been redesigned to improve heat dissipation.

A cooling fan spinning at 24,000rpm is part of the setup, along with a new internal structure that uses 43 blades. Red Magic says the fan supports IPX8 water resistance, and the device itself is also said to carry the same protection.

The Pro+ model goes further by adding a full liquid cooling module. That variant is aimed at users who want more aggressive sustained gaming performance and stronger thermal management.

Battery and charging options split the lineup

The standard Red Magic 11S Pro is fitted with an 8000mAh battery and 80W wired charging. That combination makes the phone especially notable for users who want longer gaming sessions without frequent charging breaks.

The Red Magic 11S Pro+ takes a different approach. It uses a 7500mAh battery, 120W wired charging, and 80W wireless charging, giving it more charging flexibility even though the battery is slightly smaller.

Other features aimed at gamers

Both models include dual 50-megapixel rear cameras. They also come with Wi-Fi 7, NFC, an infrared remote control, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

One of the more unusual additions is direct Steam connectivity. The feature lets users access supported PC games directly through the built-in gaming space on the phone.

Pricing in China

The Red Magic 11S Pro starts at 5,499 Yuan for the 12GB+256GB version. The RedMagic 11S Pro+ starts at 6,199 Yuan for the 12GB+256GB version.

For the Pro+ model, Red Magic also offers a 16GB+512GB option at 6,999 Yuan and a 16GB+1TB option at 7,999 Yuan. For now, there is still no clear word on whether the series will receive a global release.
