Lenovo’s Legion 5 15IAX11 has surfaced on the company’s official site, and the details point to a gaming laptop that aims high on both speed and display quality. The combination of an OLED 165Hz panel and support for up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 makes it immediately notable in the crowded mid-to-premium gaming segment.
What stands out most is that Lenovo has not yet disclosed global pricing or availability. Even so, the published specifications already show where this model is headed: a machine built to attract gamers who also care about color accuracy, contrast, and a polished visual experience.
A display built as the headline feature
The Legion 5 15IAX11 uses a 15.3-inch OLED panel with a WQXGA resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It also supports a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, HDR peak brightness up to 1,000 nits, and full 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage.
That display package is more than a simple gaming spec sheet. It positions the laptop as an option for users who want fluid motion in games without giving up strong color performance for creative or visual work.
Performance options sit near the top of the stack
Lenovo offers three processor choices for the model: Intel Core 7 245HX, Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX, and Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus. The laptop also includes Intel AI Boost for AI-oriented processing support.
Graphics support goes up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070, paired with up to 12GB of GDDR7 memory. Lenovo further lists up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe SSD storage, giving the system the kind of specification range expected from a serious gaming notebook.
Connectivity and physical design remain practical
The chassis uses aluminum on the top section and PC-ABS on the bottom panel. Lenovo plans to offer the laptop in Eclipse Black and Glacier White, giving buyers two straightforward color options.
Port selection is broad and clearly aimed at gaming and everyday productivity. The device includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI 2.1, Ethernet RJ-45, Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C with DisplayPort 2.1, and multiple USB Type-A ports.
Audio, webcam, and battery details round it out
Lenovo equips the laptop with two 2W stereo speakers tuned by Harman, along with Nahimic Audio support and a Realtek ALC3287 codec. At the top of the display, there is also a 5MP webcam with an electronic privacy shutter and a dual microphone array.
Power comes from an 80Wh battery, and Lenovo says Rapid Charge Pro is supported. With the included 245W adapter, the battery is claimed to reach 50 percent in about 30 minutes.
Size and positioning
The Legion 5 15IAX11 measures 344 x 244.5 x 18.95–19.95 mm and weighs around 1.93 kilograms. That keeps it within a range that still works for a performance-focused gaming laptop with a high-end display and HX-class processor options.
With an OLED panel at 165Hz, up to RTX 5070 graphics, and a specification list that reaches into premium territory, the Legion 5 15IAX11 is shaping up as one of Lenovo’s more aggressive gaming entries. Lenovo has not said when it will be available worldwide, but the official listing already makes its direction clear.
