The software experience, however, takes them in different directions. Vivo X300 FE runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6, while OnePlus 15R uses Android 16 with OxygenOS 16, which is described as cleaner and smoother in feel.
Compact premium versus larger entertainment focus
Vivo X300 FE leans toward a compact flagship design with a glass and aluminum build. Its smaller body should make it easier to hold during longer sessions, including when taking photos or playing games.
OnePlus 15R takes the opposite route with a larger frame that is more tuned for entertainment. That approach makes sense for users who spend more time watching videos or gaming and want a bigger display in hand.

OnePlus 15R answers with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display that refreshes at 165Hz and supports Dolby Vision. The larger panel and higher refresh rate make it more appealing for gaming and multimedia use.

Battery and charging tell a different story
If battery size matters most, OnePlus 15R has the stronger headline number with a 7400mAh battery. That capacity gives it a clear advantage for long days and extended use.
Vivo X300 FE still brings a large 6500mAh battery, but it offsets the smaller capacity with faster 90W wired charging. OnePlus 15R supports 80W wired charging instead.
Vivo also adds premium charging features that OnePlus does not match. It supports 40W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, while OnePlus 15R does not offer wireless charging at all.
Connectivity leaves little to separate them
Both phones support Wi-Fi 7 and stereo speakers, so the core connectivity and audio setup remains strong on each side. OnePlus 15R does move ahead slightly on Bluetooth, using Bluetooth 6.0 compared with Vivo X300 FE’s Bluetooth 5.4.
