RTX 50 Series Power Meets A Steep Price Tag, Lenovo’s LOQ 15 Gen 11 Aims Higher

Lenovo’s LOQ 15 Gen 11 is positioning itself as a more serious option in the midrange gaming category, but the price makes that upgrade harder to ignore. The laptop pairs AMD Ryzen 7 250 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics, yet it still stays below Lenovo’s Legion lineup in branding and intent.

The model, also known as LOQ 15AHP11, is aimed at users who want strong gaming performance without moving into the higher-priced premium tier. Lenovo is also pushing a more modern identity for the series, with a design and feature set that feel more current for both gaming and everyday productivity.

A bolder look for a 15-inch gaming laptop

LOQ 15 Gen 11 comes in Whirlwind Green, matched with black bezels and a similarly colored keyboard accent. That choice gives it a more distinctive appearance than many gaming laptops that usually stick to darker and safer color schemes.

The design makes the machine look younger and more stylish, which fits Lenovo’s effort to refresh the LOQ line. In some markets, Lenovo also offers a wireless mouse in a matching color to complete the setup.

Despite being a 15-inch gaming laptop, the device weighs around 2.1 kilograms. That keeps it fairly portable for a machine built for gamers and users who need it for work as well.

Ryzen 7 250 and RTX 50 Series take the lead

At the center of the LOQ 15 Gen 11 is the AMD Ryzen 7 250 built on Zen 4 architecture. It offers 8 cores and 16 threads, with boost clock speeds reaching up to 5.1GHz.

The processor also includes Radeon 780M integrated graphics. That can help with light graphics tasks and editing when the discrete GPU is not being used at full load.

For graphics, Lenovo gives buyers three NVIDIA options: GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop GPU, RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, and RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. All of them use 8GB GDDR7 memory, and Lenovo pairs them with DLSS 4 support, improved ray tracing, and generative AI features.

Display and upgrade flexibility

The laptop uses a 15.3-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It also supports a 165Hz refresh rate, which should help keep gameplay smooth.

Color coverage reaches 100% sRGB, so the display is not limited to gaming use alone. That also makes it more suitable for content creation tasks that benefit from better color accuracy.

Brightness is rated at 300 nits, which is enough for comfortable indoor use and day-to-day activity. Lenovo also equips the machine with DDR5-5600 RAM up to 32GB and two M.2 SSD slots, giving users more room to expand storage.

Modern connectivity, but not a cheap purchase

On the connectivity side, LOQ 15 Gen 11 includes USB4, HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3. The port selection supports both competitive gaming and regular work use, while the wireless specs keep it aligned with modern expectations.

The main drawback is price. Global pricing starts at around 1,600 Poundsterling, or about Rp34 jutaan, while the starting price in the United States is listed at US$1,645 depending on the configuration.

Lenovo has already made the LOQ 15 Gen 11 available in several regions, including the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, and Australia. That wider rollout shows the company is treating the model as one of its key midrange gaming offerings, even if its cost may force buyers to pause before upgrading.
