Meta has introduced a new consumer subscription package that brings Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp into one paid offering with added “Plus” features. The full bundle costs Rp 124 ribu per month, while each app can also be subscribed to separately.
The pricing places Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus at 3.99 dollars each, or around Rp71 ribu per app. WhatsApp Plus is priced at 2.99 dollars per month, or around Rp53 ribu, giving users the option to choose only one service or combine all three.
Meta’s product chief Naomi Gleit said the new package is designed to add features that improve the user experience. She described the update as including everything from profile customization to animated reactions.
Different functions across each app
Meta is positioning Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus around social visibility and audience interaction. The extra tools are aimed at helping users stand out more clearly on social platforms and manage how their content reaches others.
Among the highlighted features is the ability to see the total number of Story replay viewers. Users can also create unlimited Story audience lists, which expands how content can be distributed.
Meta has also added an option to highlight one Story per week to reach more viewers. Another feature extends Story visibility beyond 24 hours, while previewing a Story without being counted as a viewer is also possible.
The package further allows content to be uploaded directly to a profile or Highlights without appearing in the feed. That set of tools shows a clear focus on active users and creators who want more control over reach and audience behavior.
WhatsApp Plus takes a more personal route
WhatsApp Plus follows a different direction by focusing on identity and visual personalization. Meta has planned features such as the Super Heart animated reaction, a special app icon, a unique bio font, and an extra profile pin.
Those additions make WhatsApp Plus feel more centered on personal expression than on the social display features used in Instagram and Facebook. The distinction is one of the clearest points in Meta’s new subscription structure.
Naomi Gleit also said more fun features will be added later. That indicates the current lineup is not meant to be final.
Meta has also made clear that the new “Plus” services do not replace Meta Verified. Verification continues to focus on identity protection, account verification, and additional support.
